I love a fresh wick, so usually I'm rewicking at least a day if not more before I need to. It drives me nuts, which is why I've worked on having so many attys in rotation.
On top of that, Luna is fixated with cotton. She plays with my cut off tails, and eats them. Occasionally she strikes in time and snatches the cotton I was rewicking with
And it's warm but rainy here, and my boots are drowning in @Pigs' mud

Tried it. But I found it ended up taking me longer to rewick with rayon, and I didn't like the break-in taste if I hadn't primed/pulsed it enough. So I'm happy with Cotn for now
