I’m glad someone got to sleep in!!!!! Mean, perky morning child woke me up with a phone call at 8:30 :grr:
@ShowMeTwice , fedex me some rocket fuel please . Dark roast ain’t putting a dent in the groggies. I shelved building for another day, no sense in struggling with tiny grub screws when I’m bleary

 I get woken up by Cat and Dog. Once Cat starts walking on my pillows Dog jumps into action, stands over me and licks my face like crazy. She is very goofy and happy every morning. Now that I have the giant bed to myself Dog sleeps on one side near the bottom. Cat likes to climb under the covers and sleeps right up against me. o_O

FedEx is on the way with Rocket Fuel to save your day, and your groggies, should be ringin' the bell shortly. Wake up!!! ;) :D

Yeah good to hear from you too buddy,i do try to post more but these new meds just leave me totally out.

Back to the subject of coffee, nah man big chains of coffee shops like Starbucks aren't a thing over here.
Just looked it up and i think there are a hundred and change in Spain, that really isn't a lot.
We do have lot of bars (tapas bars not bars bars) where you can get MUCH better coffee for less than half the price of Starbucks.

Coffee is a simple thing here, got 3 main types then 2 variations.

Start with ''Cafe Solo'',that is just garden variety espresso shot.

Then we go with ''Cortado'' (Chopped up,Cut up in english),It's basically an espresso but with an ounce or two of milk.
They call it cortado because the milk ''cuts'' up the intensity of the espresso.

3rd and last main coffee they order in Spain and in no particular order is ''Cafe con leche''.
Which is basically you're everyday latte, only difference is that It's not as big as in the US or Canada,at the most we talking 5 ounces not a drop more.

Now with the other 2 variations of coffee that are less often ordered but still available everywhere you go.

For that quick pick me up where caffeine alone just doesn't cut it you have to order a ''Carajillo'' which is a straight shot of espresso with a nice generous pour of booze.
Depending on the province it varies but normally people add brandy, coñac, whisky, anise, aguardiente (something like schnapps),orujo (pomace brandy from northern Spain),rum, baileys or herbal liqueur.
PSA:Not all together, they just choose one he he

Now for the last coffee and my all time favourite,if you order a Bombon this is what you get:

Had to post a pic because that right there is perfection!!

Recipe? Easy peasy, bottom half of the cup is you guessed it,sweetened condensed milk, pour a shot of espresso on top and you ready to go.

Let me tell you,you ain't been to heaven if you haven't had one of these...it's that good.

With this I'm officially done with my lesson on the types of coffee in Spain, hope you enjoyed the info and i hope you can use it one day if you ever come to Spain.

    Cheers

P.S: I had to actually google that long coffee order, supposedly it's the longest order you can ask for in Starbucks hehe

Delicious! It’s just like the coffee I get from Vietnamese restaurants. Decadent. Haha.

    Psssst.... wanna know something?

If you said NO, too bad!

Down on the other side of the world at our friends forum in SA I was blown away when I clicked on emoticons and was presented with hundreds of them. HUNDREDS. My brain farted! Was like, why don't we have that many here. Duh!

    Ok, carry on then...

    Good morning shiny ones

I have decided to call autocorrect the autocucumber

@Aliraonz, look at your photo more closely. I added info and removed the other coil. It makes complete sense to me. @Wayneo is spot-on.

Thanks STM that makes total sense.

I prefer ni80, but my fave wire only comes in ka1, so I put up with it :D

    In the box that Luna ate ;) there's 26g ss316L, 28g ss316L, kanthal twisted wire 28gx2, my fave flat wire ka1 0.5mm x 0.2mm and some ss316L 28/40 MTL clapton wire.

When you're learning, it's easier to use cheap wire so coil your head off with especially the 26g and twisted ka1.

The main thing I'd spend money on now is a decent tool kit. A coil master style rod and winder just makes it so much easier to coil wire - especially fused clapton wire.
From the pickings over here, this one is the best value:
GeekVape DIY Mini Tool Kit V2

if you want to get more cotton:
Cotton Bacon Prime by Wick N Vape

and if like me, you want to vape in the 20-30w range then this is perfect for that. Even at 15-20w it vapes fantastic
    COILOLOGY MTL Fused Clapton SS316L 2-30/40 10ft | Flavours

Thanks Ange, I will play with wire (autocucumber corrected wire to wife, luckily I catches on time ) That's the building kit I got. Now I know where the scissors go  and I got that cotton too. Now the wire isn't the springy one or is it?

You actually did buy them. Winner
Got a total surprise today. Some Vapemail arrived in my letterbox from @Daniel Forsyth (otherwise known as King Dan or simply His Majesty)

A stunning purple and blue Pumper 18. I absolutely love it. The colours are gorgeous and the generosity and thoughtfulness brought a tear to my eye.

I was having a pretty crappy day up to that point.
    Thanks Dan :thumb::thumb:

Aww Dan the King is indeed a wonderful person with a big heart. One of a kind. That pumper is gorgeous.

Ad for 2019 and 2020. I laugh every time I see it on TV. It's so cute.

I've just finished shopping and oh how fun it was;)
I bought two wooden goodies for myself:w00t:
The Ultroner Gaea which Everzon still has in stock from when they had the big Ultroner price slash. Sara got herself one of these quite a while back from Stabwoodmods.uk and said it's a very nice mod, @Fidola13 have you used this much? Bring on some more feedback:wub:
Ultroner GAEA 200W Stabilized Wood Mod
My other new lovely piece of Good Wood is a little bit Vicious, I just couldn't resist another Marquis:drool:

I actually bought a second one I enjoy it so much! Works great and the stabwood finish is silky smooth!!
    Enjoy yours!!
