You know what you're doing, a hell of a lot more than I do

I wick weirdly in my RTAs - I twist the cotton and poke it through all the way, still twisted. Where the density/twists are even is my coil middle. Then untwist it and pull it side to side. And the sound/squeek it makes then, is my main gauge on too much or too little cotton.

I'm the same with vaping a new wick - if it sounds like a Harley Davidson, I've under wicked, a lawnmower means it's over wicked.

If I ever go deaf, I'm screwed

I do the same twisting as you do but with rayon. Works great every time!

Good afternoon everyone! I got some vape mail over the weekend. A Green stabwood Ultroner Gaea dirt cheap and 2 vaporesso skarr sub ohm tanks for when my hands are arthritic. I use the GT ceramic coils and the flavor is great.
