Cut them a bit longer after you've pulled them through then juice up your wick and coil then flatten the outside wicks back against the slots....make sure you cover the slots completely.

As always not too much wick....not too little. I sometimes use my thumbs to flatten the wicks either side of the slots too.

Hope that helps :)
Hey thanks for the info. I'll give it a try again soon.

Oh come on, you have never forgot to put the cap on? Not even once?
Sorry but never. Not once. Ever. Really. I mean c'mon - there are only the deck, chimney and cap to deal with. Why would I forget something like that? It'd be sitting there staring at me with it's little cyclops eye willing me to please please not forget.

Your welcome....sometimes I cut it even longer and then tuck some of it back through the slots just to make sure....but beware....you can end up with a dry wick sometimes. Depends how much wick and how much you vape :)

Ok on the shiny front.
I never got the Asgard Mini.
Thinking about grabbing one while i still can. If memory serves most loved them.
Anyone have input?
I have a couple of 'em. They have hands down the best flavor of any of my 25mm RDAs, rivaling even the best of my 24s to boot. Easy to build and when you get the coils just right they'll curl your toes :D

It's the one RDA that makes me wish I liked dual coil setups. @Tralfaz seems to love his
I do indeed

Question for you on your wicking notes. Are your notes mostly from experience with the DL version? Because with my MTL, I have attempted the Exocet method a couple of times with not great results.
The original Dvarw MTL's you have came with the chimney that has 2 small round juice feed holes. Those are more challenging to get the tails through using Exocet style.

I was able to do Exocet with them but it was a PIA. Mine have all been updated to the newer chimney's with oblong holes which makes Exocet wicking pretty easy (see photo below).

You can do Exocet with the small round holes but you need to have patience in getting your tails through the 2 round holes. Twisting the ends of the tails to go through the holes works BUT that chimney style is not the best for Exocet wicking.

To do Exocet with the 2 round holes - use a longer wick - thread your coil - before placing the chimney on the base thread the tails through the holes - then install the chimney - pull through any remaining slack - with Exocet you DO NOT want any extra wick inside the chamber - trim the tails - assemble the Dvarw and you're set.

DON'T FORGET THE TOP CAP!!! ;)

My Dvarw MTL FL (and DL FL) from KHW Mods and the FL's sold at FT have the oblong juice feed holes like the OG DL's have. It is much easier to use Exocet wicking with those versus the two round holes.

KHW Mods and Fasttech sell an updated chimney base that has the oblong juice feed holes. $1.80 Coppervape 316 Stainless Steel Oval Hole Chimney for Dvarw MTL RTA Atomizer at FastTech - Free Shipping

If you bought a few of those you will find the Exocet wicking method easier. I only use Exocet about 50% of the time. Any of the Dvarw wicking styles will give you a great and flavorful vape. It's all personal preference.

I'm thinking that maybe I tried the Exocet method on one of my older Coppervape Dvarws. I have several of the FL versions, so I'll try it on one of those next and see if I find it easier.

I agree about the Dvarw being good with many different wicking styles. I just wanted to see if the Exocet might be a bit smoother vape. Sometimes using another method, it will start feeling like the AF gets more restricted after a few days after replacing the wick.

If you've successfully wicked a kanger stm v2rba you can wick a dvarw.
Yes, exactly. :) And I would extend what you said to include any Kayfun RTA - if you can successfully wick a Kayfun you can wick any RBA. At least that's been my experience and IIRC @Opinionated said the same.

Last week I was using one of my STM's with the v2 RBA. It's still an awesome vape and flavorful too. Easy to coil and wick. Same with the Lemo's I have.

How many tanks do you get before re-wicking?
I haven't counted how many tank fulls I get but my wicks last 12-14 days with no degradation in flavor. I usually run 8-12 setups that see daily use. With RDA's my wicks last even longer.

I use Mavaton's cotton, it lasts and easily out performs every other cotton I've tried. With the medical grade Tidi rayon balls I also get the same performance. If I vaped NET's or real sweet juices (yuck) my wick changes would be more frequent.

I've never forgotten the top cap either. Adding the top cap after wicking is totally automatic for me. It's just another part of the process. :D

    Morning shinies ;)

Live dangerously, leave your chamber cap off!

I find the FL harder to Exocet than the metal chamber Dvarws. I think it's because there's not as much room for outside wick tails with the FL chamber, whereas the metal chamber has plenty of room. And like @charlie1465 I cut my tails quite long, so you can smush (technical term) them against the chamber:
    ExocetTail.jpeg
But, we're using the DL version, which is a bigger deck.

Do I have a wind method?
I wet the wick ends first and push them straight up,then put the cap on and push the wick down.

How many tanks do you get before re-wicking?

Roughly every 2 or 3 days. No real idea on tanks, as due to OCDness I keep filling them as soon as the level gets down a bit

I get it. You and @Pigs are better at Dvarwing than I am. No need to keep bragging about it.
I have only wicked my Dwarv a few times and put it all back together the way it came apart. Not until later when I heard others forgetting to put something back on did I even know it was an issue. I usually work on a clean surface and would notice if something was sitting there did not get put back on
