Well...it saddens me to say that it's time to retire my ol' trusty Jackaroo

vandy_vape_-_jackaroo_dual_mod_-_stripy_black.png

Got some ''normal'' mileage out of it.

Rubber getting loose on the the sides, the 510 was starting to give me the wrong readings and unfortunately the other day i dropped it.
Usually it wouldn't be a big deal but i was rewicking my Destiny rta and i was about to change the battery of the Jackaroo when i elbowed it and it fell...problem is that the battery cap was off so now it just doesn't thread properly.

Takes a while to screw the battery cap in and it leaves me uneasy so now that i have my new drag 3 it's time to retire my Jackaroo...will miss you buddy :(

I saw some pictures, here and there, and thought about getting one. And then I saw the price tag. Just about what I paid for my first car. OK, it was a used car. ;)
I know, when I think about what I paid for it, it still gives me heart palpitations lol. But, I’m glad I bought it. That’s just a freaking boatload of money for one teeny mod.

No silly ....I mostly vape left handed. Some mods that’s not as doable depending on button placement etc.
Depends which way I'm sitting...if it's on my left it's left handed. If it's on my right then right handed.
I'm a bit middle of the road I guess :D

Good morning Everyone !!! :D

It's a cloudy day outside BUT very sunny inside, HA perspective. I don't mind the cloudy days, they need lovin' too. Got a few inches of snow overnight and I still need to shovel that. Too little for dragging out the snowblower IMO (but that would be quicker for my 140 foot driveway). Shoveling is good exercise though!!!

I'm still waiting to hear back from a store I found a very nice stabwood DNA mod at to see if my order went through. Iffy. It's "Good Wood" as @Daniel Forsyth would say. ;) They had it on clearance for a truly amazing price. We'll see, if I get it cool, if not cool and ho hum.

Hope y'all enjoy your Day and make it Great!!!

What a relief... thought something dire had happened. Good to hear from you.
Hope all ok?
Hi Charlie!!! I hope you and the Mrs. are doing well. All is well here. Next time I leave I will post that I am going away for a time. ;) Sorry, I should have done that the last few times I disappeared. Ya know like be a responsible adult - hmmm, that will be hard on my inner kid who still enjoys being the rebel. :w00t:

    Morning shinies ;)

    Hello, @AngeNZ !

Speaking of drip tips... One of my favorite DTs (your recommendation from a long time agao, thanks) broke yesterday--the resin part became unglued and completely separated from the ss part. I'm so sad. It was perfect on my Zenith tank--perfect fit and bore and everything. Has it happened to you? Anyone else? I didn't drop it--it just fell apart. I could try to glue it back in place but I'm not sure if it's a good idea--sucking on glue?

    5418008-2.jpg

So I'm thinking to replace it with something that is not a resin/ss hybrid, but has the same dimensions.

I like those, but they seem to have a bigger bore..

    $5.75 Resin 510 Drip Tip (4 Pieces) 4-pack - 15mm / random colors at FastTech - Free Shipping

    or this?

$2.99 AOLVAPE Resin 510 Drip Tip - 16mm at FastTech - Great Gadgets, Great Prices

Or should I just get another ss/resin like the one I had and hope for the best? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I only broke one by dropping it, and that chipped off the resin. Here's a couple more:
$1.78 Authentic Vapesoon Resin 510 Drip Tip - 14mm at FastTech - Free Shipping
    small bore, but gorgeous
$2.59 Resin + Stainless Steel Hybrid 510 Drip Tip - 15.5mm at FastTech - Free Shipping
Is this the same line as yours?
$4.50 AOLVAPE Turquoise + Stainless Steel Hybrid 510 Drip Tip (2 Pieces) 2-pack - 15mm / random colors at FastTech - Free Shipping
and it's awesome to see you

FT just let me use pp for wire spools and prebuilt coils. Of course had to order more dts and a couple small compartment boxes for the dts. WARNING: Ange is an infectious dt ordering disease carrier!!!

    Perfection

Don't want it, haven't dived into custom dts yet.
Custom dts you say??? If interested...

So far my favorites are dts made by Big out of the UK. He does great work. All handmade and high quality. I have a couple of them. They are very comfy. He makes wide bore, jumbo bore and narrow bore tips.

IIRC they're about half the cost of a Siam dt. Ordered direct from the shop inventory they're 8£. He will make custom ones to match a mod if you send a photo of your mod. 10£ for a custom one.

Creme de Vape used to carry some of his dts. Not sure if they still do.

I love the pattern and that PURPLE is gorgeous. Nice VA. Enjoy! :D

Did ya fire it up yet? Howzit?

Do you even know me? Of course I fired it up! :D

It’s lovely and solid. The bottle is softer than I’m used to, but that works well given how small the squonk hole is. Smaller than I expected for a 21700. The gold veins are sparkly, hard to get a good shot of the depth of color.

    Vapemail today!!

Was pretty happy that customs didn't charge me,lately that is a problem here in Spain.
They sub contracted a company to take over for customs (company belongs to the wife of a Minister of the government) and they over charge and scam a lot of people...glad my package wasn't picked or i would have had to pay almost 30 euros.

Anyway big thanks to @Justin_ting for the giveaway,i am now a proud owner of a Drag 3 :)
(Give me a couple of days so i can properly reviews said device)

Had to go and pick some meds for my pops so i went by the vape shop and got me 2 new 18650's,charging at the moment so i have to wait to give this bad boy a try.

Big hug from Spain to all of you, sorry i haven't been online that much lately, things a big hectic with all the doc appointments, blood work, tests and other various medieval torture procedures my pops has to go thru.

Hope you all healthy and keeping safe :)
Congrats on your Drag 3 win!

You're a good Man and take such good care of your dad. I hope he gets to feeling better soon. How are you doing with your health? Good and better I'm hoping. :)

Looks awesome! Hope you enjoy! Great on no fee at customs! Like we the people don’t get charged enough just to live and stay afloat.
