No I disagree.... there's no problem in France and the UK health service advice is clear on the benefits of vaping as a smoking cessation product....

I do think that there maybe taxes to pay at some point.

Also just to make everyone aware the sun newspaper in the UK is the most bogus of all.... can't believe a word in there. It's more of a comic really.

I am a bit concerned that the USA crap may spread....go figure :D
Lady Liberty is supposed to be taking her light of freedom to the world, Maybe they will take her down too.:(

Ava, that's the same exact problem some people have had with the Collosal's.

Try inserting your battery negative side first and then push up on the positive side while inserting your battery. That should resolve your issue with ripping the battery wraps.

Follow the same procedure when removing your battery. Push up on the positive side while sliding the battery out.

That works good for me with my Colossal's.

There have been a couple folks who did file that little black plastic ledge down and had good results. If you go that route just file a little at a time trying a battery as you go along.
I knew there was another single battery mod that I had this same problem with and it sure was the colossal. This one is negative on top positive on the bottomAnd I have no issue when I'm putting it in putting the negative up against the spring loader contact and pushing up and getting the battery in. But when it comes time to push up and pull out I cant.. I don't know what it is. It's like my hand doesn't work that way maybe if I flip it upside down lol.

I'm already shopping for new batteries because I trust the individuals who say they have this mod and they use this battery and it works even though I don't see how that's going to work because these batteries are about the same size lol I might break out my file still I'm glad to hear that other people have done that. I really like this mod like I was going to get a couple more but not with this going on even 70% off.

Morning all!

@AvaOrchid I hope you get that battery issue under control. They do loosen over time, and I think you’ll get the hang of swapping batteries.

I gotta get off my .... and get this house under control. It’s chilly today, and I want to have everything done so I can enjoy the warmer weather when it gets here.

I think it really boils down to the battery. Everyone that I've talked to that has the mod uses something other than a 30T.. I think it'll probably loosen over time. But that piece of plastic that it's catching on is probably going to remain a problem.

My husband gave it a go and he could not exert enough force to get the battery out either without tearing it up...he suggested that I insert a screwdriver and lift it up I think I'm going to pass. I did file down parts of it (mod) on the positive side this is the result which is significantly better then before but still not great. I'm buying some new batteries today And maybe a different 21700 mod.

Use a credit card or an old hotel key to get out. Next time you put the battery in place a bit of ribbon underneath it first.

    Be very careful @AvaOrchid

You realize that white plastic ring at the top of the 30T in your picture is a vital insulator?

That ring is the only thing preventing a hard short - and an battery in thermal runaway - apart from the thin battery wrap.

Every tubular shaped Lithium Ion battery has these flat plastic rings because the top of the battery when exposed has both the positive and negative only mms apart on the same plane. In other words without that ring all it would take would be the tip of a screwdriver to touch the top centre (positive) and brush the top side (negative) and you would have a hard short.
