Car parked right at the door but since it's old the locking mechanism just unlocks itself sometimes,so someone went into my glove compartment...
Had my Colossal+Hellvape Destiny rta and my PX80....puff gone!!
It's ok thou,still got another Colossal at home but atty wise i will miss my Hellvape Destiny,it was my favorite rta.
Got a OFRF rta still unopened in a box,had 2...gave one away because to be honest i could never get the same flavor and results as my Hellvape Destiny.
Oh well,time to open it and see if i can get it working so at least i got something to vape...
Some days it just sucks,was like 3 minutes in the pharmacy and that is all it took...

Thing is, I just don't buy anything anymore. I'm still vaping but mostly using AIOs...love them mesh coils.
After just about getting bored and contemplating giving up vaping...out of frustration for not getting the best out of my tobacco flavors, my vaping journey quite suddenly and unexpected was thrusted into another dimension lately, and I have to share that with you all.
As some of you might remember, I only do tobacco, and the pinnacle for me, is Naturally Extracted Tobacco. I have a cupboard full of different ones i've extracted myself, and they kept me happy for a while. Flavor is fantastic, but boy oh boy rewicking after every 3-4ml gets to you in the end....plus I fell in love with the flavor I got from my AIO mesh coils. Problem is I couldn't use my beloved NETs in the mesh coils...that would've cost me a fortune.
To make things more frustrating, i 've known of a technique a fantastic man @Str8vision has invented to remove the natural sugars (from the tobacco leaf) from the extraction...the sugars are the reason the wicks gunks up and don't last. Basically the alcohol is mixed with the PG/VG extracted liquid and then frozen and filtered while in the freezer. The sugars falls out of suspension and is seperated with filtering....Genius. He also posted several threads here helping loads of people. Thank You Friend...you took my vaping to the next (and ultimate) level
The technique involved using ethanol (95% alcohol). I've been trying to get hold of that for some 3 years now...that is a tearjerking story in itself.
Anyway by some miracle I got hold of another fantastic guy that has a garage full of the stuff...highest quality to. Yeah sure he said, I can give you a liter or two. Problem was he lived some 600km away from me and because of the laws of the land, he's not allowed to sell or ship it to me. NO PROBLEM, I did not wink an eyelid in driving to go get my PRECIOUS....and to make it all worth the while, after he heard my tearjerking story, he ended up giving me 8 liters for free
So it's been a few weeks since I had the stash...and needless to say, i've been busy.
The alcohol is not only used to remove the sugars, it also makes a fantastic extraction medium.
As i'm writing this, i'm testing my first finished "freeze filtered" batch of American Spirit (Perique) tobacco....fantastic stuff. I'm ecstatic to report i'm at 20ml and the wick is still going strong. I expected (and would've been happy with) about 10mls. This is just unheard of for NETs.
So now I have the old brain running hot with ideas for new flavor mixtures involving the tobacco as a base.
And best of all is I can use them all in pods and AIOs....
Did you do that 600km as a time trial on your eBike?

When you say scorching do you mean burning?Question....I'm getting a lot of trouble with my Dvarw top cap touching my wick's on either side and scorching. 2.5mm coil set really low. Anyone else? I've just rewicked and three days later....funky taste

Dark spots on a wick can happen if one tail is longer than the other. The longer tail gets the dark spot. Dark spots can also happen if there is too much wick installed for the design of the deck. Juice pools up in the excess wick. Hence the dark spots.
When I use VapDivrr wicking I trim some off the tops and sides of the tails. Same as I do with Kayfun's and a few others.
With Exocet I don't trim any off the tails.
I have my coils set at ~1.5mm above the AF. My wick tails never come into contact with the top cap unless I have, as you said, too much "hump" on the top.
Just measured, on the Dvarw FL's there is ~1.5mm of space between the top cap and the juice holes. I didn't measure the OG.
ETA: The lower you go with your coil the less chance of it coming into contact with the top cap.
I put 3 in my cart and it took off 12.50 for each. They just divided the discount by 3.

Yes, a lot of folks on here are obsessed with them and have several. Many people on this thread can probably jump in and tell you a lot more about them than I could.
Thanks for that. It's not actually touching the top cap I don't think but the residual heat from the cap is close enough to scorch the top of the wick. I use the Exocet method on all my Dvarw's. It happens just outside the coil where you get the bulge form juice expansion in the wick.
I'll try a couple of things and see what happens

So battery junkies I have a question. It's time to start replacing the 21700s with fresh stock. I currently use both samsung 40T and molicel P42A and happy with both. Generally stay in the 25-28w range. Is there a good reason to pay 3.00 more for the 40T? I do keep 2 30T on hand for the few builds I go over 40w but those have very few cycles on them so won't need to replace those for some time.

As far as i know or well you know what they tell us which i can't know for sure if it's true the vaccine we getting is Pfizer.
Feeling a bit better now but oh boy it was rough for a couple of days,flu like symptoms but without the itchy nose or the sneezing,the rest of the symptoms multiplied by a factor of 20.
It is odd thou,the mother of my next door neighbor is like 85 years old and she didn't feel anything,fresh like a Rose...seems the side effects vary from person to person.
This was my first shot,getting my second one in May and they say the side effects of the second shot are much stronger so honestly i am not looking forward to that but hey it has to be done.
IMO, If you are happy with what you know works best for you stick with it.
3 bucks is 3 bucks. I'm cheap that way.
And I still pickup pennies, they add up.
