Interesting, about the peppery taste. I don’t get pepper from TFA vbic but I feel less weird now, tasting AP or bergamot or whatever it is in the FW flavors.

Hi Delores.....some people are pepper tasters and some not. TFA Vbic is supposed to be a less peppery option. I suppose it depends on what flavours you're used to in eating them but I've no idea really. Unfortunately I think that I am a pepper taster but with me it can taste more like off NIC. It only happens after a long steep and is always fine off the shake...

Bravo....the trick is always balancing the foreground with the sky.....bring down the highlights and up the shadows a bit in post. But tbh the best way is to expose for the foreground and then the sky and blend them in post....do you have Lightroom and Photoshop??

Here's one that exposes for both at the same time. The light intensity is very important...ie what time you take the photo...

@charlie1465 not quite as open as a Dvarw but just that much more open... the Ether Bridge is really awesome and opening up the airflow a dash does help.

Thanks Rob....I'm enjoying the Ether bridge too...not sure whether I'll take the ring out if it's only a tad!! I did think about modifying the airflow ring but then you ARE still restricted by the air intake on the bridge

@AngeNZ, @charlie1465 I very highly recommend both SSA Ice Cream and SSA Vanilla Ice Cream. They make an excellent ic base. IMO, together, they are the holy grail of ice cream. I found LB IC to be fake tasting and too sweet. I never liked any of the VBIC's. The SSA's taste like real IC and do not taste fake. Naturally, YMMV.

I should have bought the Steam Tuners top fill kit for my Dvarw DL FL when they were available. They appear to be sold out everywhere. Still searching Europe for one.
