Never underestimate a redneck ;)

I have rarely used bypass on any of my topsides.
As far as a board issue, i had one die that was a 1st run i preordered. All my others have been good.
Did have a battery door screw back loose a couple times but got in the habit of running my finger over them. Screw head should be recessed, if not snug it. Come to think of it that was the 1st run as well.

Ill go back and read your problem again tomorrow, there is a bit of a booze fog going on right now lmao.

Ps sorry im late

thanks_ i been playin with it
the 25watt bit is why i don't get it_ when it's off the preferred place

the current bit is worrisome_ does the age of the batteries also effect that? that'll be more so

I've read that the CDR does get smaller as the battery ages, along with its capacity. Check your battery's CDR on Mooch's list here:

oh yeah that guy in scotland i saw with the customs__ wreheally shiny stuff

while we're talking i falling for the bypass thing_ weird, when i going higher on wattage mode it burns and boils but not on bypass... i'm hooking the axial on the Gen for the real experiment, she's been the serious boiler even when i go one wattage above normal. let's see what happens, might be opening up to a protected unreg

So it's vaping cooler in bypass than in regulated mode?
If so, it could be the preheat in reg. mode.

Ok that opens you up to mosfet style (semi -regulated) squonk mods like the AsModus Luna and Pumper. Same thing as running a regulated mod in bypass - they use the full remaining voltage of the battery to drive the atty but with safety incorporated. You know - overheat, low battery, short circuit protection etc.
Both those mods available for sale at decent prices if you look. Plus they get @Daniel Forsyth 's approval. Good Wood.

Unfortunately, Asmodus has long been sold out of both those squonkers for the better part of last year. And similarly with 3F, 3A, Sourcemore, etc. They all had good clearance sales many months ago.

In the budget line, the Vandy Vape Pulse v2. Bottom fill port, decent chip, and mine hasn't missed a beat in 8 months of daily use.

actually the only one that comes to lower wattage/cooler than my reg setup is the mtl so far

the 21700 in topside and the 2 18650s in the gen may not have been too much cooler even when they were less than half full_ and when they were full and higher than my setup they were still great_ actually enjoyed it. the axial pulled it off_ if my calculations are corrected at full the 18650s in gen with my axial were giving only a couple of watts higher than what i set on VW, only it didn't boil and spit like it's been doing lately... the preheat maybe spoiling rather than smoothing!

thanks! that list of mooch i haven't played with_ the mech stuff. i'll study it a bit

    Hey all.

Been busy so not on much, i have caught up-ish.....

Quick follow up to what @Opinionated stated many pages ago lol.

@Z-Lee i was a big fan of all the topsides that tvc designed. I have all of them. Multiples of most except the carbon, sq and lite.

The duals typically have a top airflow dual coil rda on them. Always loved the drop dead on it. You may be able to get your hands on the newer hellbeast or maybe a dead rabbit v2. Just my opinions but those rdas have good flavor and being top air they are leak resistant.
I've also been enjoying the Dovpo. I really like their quality, but I'll have to catch them on a decent sale - they're too spendy for my taste as of right now, lol. Thanks for the input.

Sorry to hear your topside is breaking on you... mine is still going strong after more than a year of daily use. I recommend them all the time for their durability.

And yes, eating more meat, veggies and berries is good for you.

    Ramadhan Mubarak..

As for my health I'm still waiting to get into the pain clinic for injections.. my appt. is the 28th for that. But I'm managing through .. had a good day today. :)

My son had severe kidney stones and he ended up needing 2 surgeries in the last week, the second was day before yesterday... he is taking a few days off to heal right now, but he seems to be okay, although in some pain right now.
Kidney stones are not pleasant when they pass....on the upside when your wife next slaps you, you can hardly feel it :D

Glad to hear he's on the mend. Sending good vibes

@Opinionated have you taken any measures to take care of your topside? like the o-rings thing or soft squonking or whatever?

mine started simply getting disconnected going off and on occasionally and when i press the screen area, went on for a month or two then now just gives me shorted with any dripper. i opened the next one, a carbon @AngeNZ made me get back when on some sale_ it's doing the trick but screwing the dripper on is tricky as it seems to have come with bad threads that don't stop it turning when mounted. one screw in battery door keeps sliding halfway out too and in that state i get leaks at the bottom.
Sounds like the centre pin on the 510 has come loose. Unscrew the top plate and see if there's a retaining nut loose. Could explain your short too as the wires are soldered to the 510.

    Salaam Alaikam

Meet the Vaporesso Luxe Q. Lip balm for scale.

I used this all day with the 0.8ohm pod. Flavour is really good, the draw/airflow with this pod is loose MTL to tight RDL. Plenty of vapour considering the size.

I love how they have fitted a 2ml pod and a 1000mah battery into such a small device.

Thank you for sending this to me @Verashu from Vapesourcing, and for doing the giveaway
One of those got stuck to my bottom lip once....it took three weeks of daily lipbalm to sooth it.....:D

    Anyway it's shipped :thumb:

Have a great day everyone

I had kidney stones once. It was probably the worst pain I have ever had. And I have had almost 20 broken bones. I wouldn't wish kidney stones on anyone.
