Good afternoon shinies

Just put in another Chefs order. Had to do it by bank transfer. France has a new online pin then code thing going on and my card kept failing the checks....no reason why...stops you spending money I suppose :D

Anyway it's shipped :thumb:

Have a great day everyone
Did you order anything new and exciting?

@Opinionated have you taken any measures to take care of your topside? like the o-rings thing or soft squonking or whatever?

mine started simply getting disconnected going off and on occasionally and when i press the screen area, went on for a month or two then now just gives me shorted with any dripper. i opened the next one, a carbon @AngeNZ made me get back when on some sale_ it's doing the trick but screwing the dripper on is tricky as it seems to have come with bad threads that don't stop it turning when mounted. one screw in battery door keeps sliding halfway out too and in that state i get leaks at the bottom.

Are these issues on a single or dual topside?
The duals are known to have battery door issues.
My original dual (from launch lol) finally started having the issue. If the door slides slightly it can lose connection with one battery. If set on a table a little hard it can come open now too. Worth mentioning that my singles have never had this issue.

Said dual still works great minus the door issue. I have taken a black rubber band from top to bottom to add a bit of tension. Seems to have worked well, the fill cap keeps it from sliding off. Also gives it a non skid foot now lol.

Its not ideal but maybe try something like that to keep the door tight and in good contact with the batteries.

I will do whatever redneck engineering i need to to use a mod as long as possible!

Better Redneckonize!! :)

Still waiting for a reply from the vendor of my Juggy MR.

Odd thing is the day before the FedEx guy was supposed to pick it up i took the atty and washed it well and put the dissambled components on top of a clean kitchen rag and let it air dry.

Next morning i went to pick it up so i could put it right back in the box and noticed that the deformation of the gasket had ''almost'' gone away, like the gasket went back to it's previous form...still it didn't seal completely the inner chimmney hold but almost.

Rules for sending back the package is the receipt and a small text explaining the problem, had to redact an annex explaining what happened.

Still...even if the gasket goes back to it's previous form (still not 100% thou, you can see a little gap where the gasket is bent outwards and doesn't properly seal the center hole) i explained to them the atty is of no use to me.
Am i supposed to use it in the morning and part of the afternoon and then take it apart so the gasket can return to it's previous form? yeah that is not an option.

Hope i get good news from them,if i don't i will just contact QP Designs directly and see what happens.

I had kidney stones once. It was probably the worst pain I have ever had. And I have had almost 20 broken bones. I wouldn't wish kidney stones on anyone.
Fortunately I've escaped so far but I've had friends and acquaintances who have....and they all say the same....the worst!!

I can vouch for the pain part.

So much pain it's like when i use to get tackled playing rugby or football and it knocks the wind out of you (temporary paralysis of the diaphragm)...same thing with the stones, could barely breathe from the pain.

P.S: Just found some coils i have no idea when or where i got them, card in the bag says 0.11 ohm in dual, for single it would be around 0.22 ohm right? i always forget how to pass the number from dual to single

Did you post or take a pic of this gasket issue? I am curious what it looks like as I have 3 of these. No issues yet.
Hoping the vendor swaps it out and/or QP supplies an answer or sends you replacements.

Yes that's right...coils in parallel halve the resistance :)

In this state i would get major spitback at first and the cap wouldn't thread properly, had to fiddle around with it for a bit so i could close it up properly.
Once i washed it and let it air dry all night it did seem to hug the hole in the center ''almost'' fully but you could still see a small gap between the gasket and the center hole.

I can 100% for sure rule out user error, never shoved in the nozzle of the bottle and even switched to another bottle because it had a smaller nozzle, same with taking off the top and threading it back in,did it slowly and carefully.

No reply from the shop yet, will just have to be patient and wait.

Just wanted to make sure,thanks.

That is so strange. Vaping mine now and looked at the gasket, flat top cap, etc and am puzzled what could cause that. I can't remember if there is a spare in the box but probably not since I ordered some spares to be safe.
Pls keep us updated and fingers crossed for a quick resolution to this.
What is your serial number on the bottom?

What kind of juice are you running?
For example many plastics and rubbers can be harmed by citrus or cinnamon.
Since you say it returned to shape, could it be possible something in your juice was weakening it. Maybe making it more pliable? After cleaning, it started returning to normal? Of course that is dependent on knowing exactly what the gasket is made of, so......

Trying to think outside the box.....

What is your serial number on the bottom?

When i sent it to the store i had already use the replacement,so yeah in less than a month used 2 gaskets...
Serial number i have no idea since i already sent it back and didn't take any pics from the bottom, sorry.

Only thing i can think of and mind you i am not engineer is that it's a problem with the top cap, can't really come up with anything else that makes sense.

When i first told them about the spitback (in the first email i sent them) they responded with the usual not the corrent amount of cotton/not wicked properly etc etc even thou i sent them a picture.

Second email is the picture i posted and then the guy from the shop apologised,he said he then saw how the gasket was deformed so he told me to pack it up and wait for the delivery guy to pick it up.

Hope it gets resolved,i don't normally spend that much on an atomizer,i mean the Juggy is like 3 Hellvape Destiny RTA hehe but yeah i was loving my Juggy until this started to happen.

Trying to think outside the box.....

Been using mostly Ultimate Shiva (Sweet Edition) By A&L,apart from trying some of the Key Lime,Pineapple and Cola DIY i made but i barely used a couple of tanks of each of those flavors so i don't think that could be it.
Plus i changed the gasket for the replacement even before i tried any of those so i think i can rule out the composition of the e-liquid.

And yeah the weird part is that when i took it apart to clean it so i could put it back in the box it looked EXACTLY like the pic i posted before, but left it on a clean kitchen rag all night so it air dry and the next morning when i checked on it it had gone back to an almost perfect fit (not 100% thou, could still see a minor gap between the gasket and the center hole).

Vanilla Pudding is a great flavor. I have the Mango in the cart for my next order. I hear it's one of the best mangos.
