Nope, had no idea. I'd planned to try them and the Cthulhu MTL Hastur rta inserts. Tripod fits, Hastur didn't. Only PITA with the Tripod inserts is that the largest is 1.8mm id. But with the side airflow wide open it may be fine.

I have the Taifun gt3 and love love love it (it's MTL to RL) If your clone is 1:1 you could likely get authentic replacement glass.

I like the deck and know FT will have the glass but maybe not the clear. If not I can live with the frosted. @ Tralfaz has an authentic pure version that's beautiful I believe.

Just looking again the model name of mine on FT says GT4, SS + Glass, SS Color and the photos look like frosted glass so I'm hopeful it won't be plastic.

When the gt4 came out I heard/read that if you like the airflow of the 3 you won't like the 4 because that one's a definite DL, as a matter of fact that was the 1 criticism for the 4 - so I never got one because the 3 is nice for me.

You'll like the gt3 when you vape it, but as a lot of gear no longer has juice flow control, you will find that feature finicky until you get used to it...

I agree that the one from ft will be frosted glass rather than frosted p-something or other material. Not the first time I've had issues with 3f. It's why I seldom order from them anymore. They sneak subs in without asking if you'd rather have a refund.
