Boost Plus and RDTA Pod
View attachment 942087

I threw a rush build into the RDTA pod, and I'm already impressed with the flavour. Airflow wise, I don't find it too airy  I'm using it with the top honeycomb row blocked off and bottom air.

The bottom airflow hole is 4mm, but it does fit the inserts from my clone Tripod rta.

Next rewick I'll try it with an insert to see if it makes any difference.

I haven't tried the drop-in coil pod yet. I got the Plus as it uses B series coils which are more in my wattage range.

The mod itself is so comfy to hold and use, and lightweight. I love how they've made a 4ml RDTA and an 18650 mod have such a low profile
Which shop Ange? Am I right that you got it for a good price to...?

When I first joined this site there were always contests to win free gear. I was winning so many that I actually stopped entering into but a few a year...

It's either luck of the draw or God watching over his children, but I was ever so grateful for those wins. I couldn't afford much during that time, and it gave me the opportunity to try out gear and figure out my vaping style, if you will ..

Those were good days, still some contests now but not as many anymore, and the gear is all pods now...

But a lot of vapers had some great wins not so long ago, if not here then Facebook etc.

i gues the target is still beginners, only beginnerstuff's changed, hence pods. now they got you and you've paid your dues n then some_ but we're the richer for your conversion

as lovely as it all sounds i'm hearing a little layer of 'back in the good days before YOU came along', hmmm??!

oh and easy on the forsythhasdivineprovidence stuff_ the man is already a small cult leader, next thing you know people be dressing up as valkyries and drinking the blood of inferior tanks!

Hey shiny people, I have a question. I will probably be buying another Pulse V2 since I am liking this one quite a bit so far. Which color should I get?

I'm intrigued. Where did you get it from? Let know what you think plz mate.
    It's this one Fred:

    $22.13 GT4 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml / stainless steel + glass / 25mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

I got mine this arvo based on a recommendation from stabwood is good.
Really like the vape so far :thumb:

I've never known a deck where coil placement from centre to a bit off-centre makes such a huge difference to the vape. It's designed that way with the two sides of the kind of half-pike deck being asymmetrical so that if you move the coil closer to one side and adjust your AF to favour that side, you get more restricted air. The other side is more open. If you want to use a combination of both sides (or just use the AFC to decide) then centre the coil and use the AFC to direct the air where you want it.

My first attempt at wicking was a dud. I'm getting there now after finding you need to use plenty of cotton.
Very useful/direct juice flow. The wicking keeps up great and flavour is very good. I'm beginning to think it's gonna like a bigger coil than the one I've installed (little dual core Ni80 fused clapton 3mmID around 0.6 Ohms).
Airflow is smooth but better on the more open side so far for me. Still experimenting.

It's a bit of a classic so there are no doubt plenty of experts out there who know the best ways to build it.

So you don't see a big piece up near the top of the photo? Nearly the length of the whole leg.

In/On the build deck? What do you mean by "top" of the picture?

This is in the southwestern portion of the build deck near to the post. The piece in the southeastern portion was smaller and near the rim and I didn't mention it, but I see nothing in the northern portions of the build deck - east or west.
