Some very good, some so so. If it's all authentic and intact it's a nice package deal.

I was going to say blue as it's my favorite color, but I realize it's a harder color to match with others. Just put this together yesterday though and I love it.View attachment 942223
It does help that the Pulse is still part black. It's just the side panels that have different colors. So it might be a bit easier to match with than an all blue mod. That one you have posted there looks like a good combo.

Yeah, I guess I meant more the shades. Like I got a blue GeekVape Legend mod that has almost like a turquoise blue accent which doesn't match the Fireluke 3 in the picture, or the blue GeekVape Zeus II RTA. Same with the Profile RDTA which is like a dark blue. Just the different shades of blue don't really match, whereas I think colors like red have a wider array of shades that still go pretty decently together. The rusty red cerakote Dovpo Topside red which is almost a brick red goes just fine with a bright red Vandy Vape Pulse RDA for example. It also works on the Asmodus 3S which is a brighter, glossier colored mod.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you guys rate the Requiem Mech Squonk for quality and price point? Other picks you'd choose over it?

They're currently $33 at SM. I have a Pulse BF, Hugo Vapor Squeezer, & SXK Durga Negus Mod & Son Style Mechanical Mod currently, but I'm concerned about their reliability/quality after reading through some of the difficulties some people have been having with them. Am I just as likely to run into these issues with the Requiem as well?

It's a full mech squonk mod, so not much can go wrong. As it uses those square bottles, I'd definitely order a few more as spares.

This review I just read through points out any flaws it may have:

The manual adjusting 510 is fine - once you've done the first time, it's easy to do after that. As for the tight batteries, that may be a pay off of having a harder hitting mod. With the Armageddon MFG v2 bf mods we had the same problem. And learning to smack your mod worked with that one.

I'd go for it, and will probably get one myself. VV are using silver contacts so it will hit hard and it's got a safety switch to disable the button.

I have the blue one, it is nicer than I expected :)

Add the Wotofo Troll x RTA to your list, and the THC RTA. Or do the right thing, and buy the lot

That does look good. I see you have it paired up with the Galaxies. Me too.

Yea I seen the galaxies RDTA come up a few times recently, nearly bought the rainbow as all you can get now, but went threw my box of tanks, I found this black one I already had, I have so many tanks, it's crazy, and most only used a few times, but never know when they might come in handy again :)

I am liking it quite a bit so far. I'm still trying to find the best AF for me on it, but it is a nice little atty. Especially for someone who is new to squonking.

Rebuilt the Aegis Plus RDTA this morning - cuz I'm like a kid with a new rba, and have to try everything :w00t:

It was a warm vape at 25 watts with a 3mm id 6 wrap 30*2/40 coil, so I nuked that one.

I stuck in the Tripod insert and a 2.5mm id ni80 30*2/40 6 wrap coil:

Much cooler vape. The insert tones down some of the airiness - running it with 6 out 8 holes open feels the same draw as the Axial RDA.

Flavour is way up there. Not in Dvarw league, but pretty close to it. It's an awesome lil device.

I only MTL, but like a airy MTL vape, so I have the airflow fully open, 2 largest holes on both sides open.

I've not been a big fan of squonking, times before I tried squonking with a RDA, always over squonk, don't squonk enough, but with the RDTA, it is too see when need to press that bottle, and I use as my work mod, so it is nice just fill squonk bottle before I go to work, and it will last me all day.

When you say you have it fully open, do you mean that you have the inside screws fully open too?

Oh no idea, didn't know there was any, since it's so long since I last used it, I would not say it is real airy, so probably not, but will check next time I take the top cap off.

You're slapping your mods? Naughty.

"There’s an essential fire locking dial doofafirkin" - is that legitimate terminology? o_O

What did he mean by using a "thin ribbon from an old dead mod" in regards to getting the battery out? Also, what if I don't have an old dead mod yet. >.>

I have been going back and forth a bit between a few different settings. One is the two largest AF holes at about 18 watts. Very smooth, but probably a bit airier that I am used to. I've also liked using the just one side large AF hole at around 14-15 watts. Also pretty good, but getting a little more throat hit than I normally get. But that might be the eliquid.

Either way, the amount of options it has for AF is pretty nice.

I am using a single core clapton coil 1.5 ohms, and vape at 20 watts, not getting strong throat hit, maybe down to only using the side air holes, I will have to test it and see.

I have tubs and tubs of atties. For a while I was buying everything I saw. And ten of the ones I liked. No idea what I even have.
