I won't be giving up my day job in a hurry. But we were out there for an hour in -7°C, and it was worth every minute.

I've still got my Nephew's pics to go through and upload.

I've been using both the Ataman and Achilles for a couple of years now. Very impressed with both...super easy to use and very flavorful. Both have the same deck and the most important thing is the coil height above the air inlet. You'll have to play around with that to get your best flavor and throat hit. I learnt that from the Ukrainian's (that makes them) website. As Charlie said...thin coil tails is best.

    Hiya folks!!

This morning while doing my daily ritual (strong short espresso and checking emails) a vape shop in Alicante sent me an email that they were closing down.
I did a couple of translating jobs for them, spoke to the owner a couple of times and he was a nice guy but his rent got jacked up and he just couldn't cover costs.

Anyway he told me to check the website because he had a one day sale with a lot of good offers.

End of the month is a bad time for me (always strapped for cash at the end of the month he he) but i saw this Kylin Mini V2 for just 14.99 euros, with delivery it came out to 19.95 euros so yeah i took the plunge without even watching a review for it which is strange for me since i like to do my research beforehand.

Oh well,i will receive it tomorrow and hope for the best.

Worth watching this @Javichu . Some good tips and an overall good review.

    I'm on the think again...
Why does a tank need a juice flow control?
Obvious answer is, to control the flow of thin or thicker juice. Well the Dvarw (and many others) don't have it, and works pretty darn well with any mix of juice...;)
I was actually thinking about this myself the other night. The only reason I could see is to actually just turn it off to cut the flow if your deck floods or something, but I guess they haven't figured out how to work light switches into tanks yet, lol. And unless you're vaping at a very consistent rate (within seconds of each puff), the flow will eventually saturate the wick no matter what or you'll get a dry hit.

IMO, it's like a spoiler on most cars - the car will never go fast enough for it to noticeably create more traction/down force, but people sure do like the aesthetic.

I guess JF is sposed to stop decks flooding when filling. Not sure that's a big deal anymore with more modern RTAs. Another plus is control over wicking with different PG/VG ratios. Close it up more with thinner juices/ open up more with thicker.

I saw a post somewhere the other day where they said they used juice flow to cut off juice to the wicks when they had an atty in a pocket or purse (nutsac?). Stopped flooding in transit.

EDIT And with decks like the Squape Arise where you can remove a top fill tank from the deck, it's needed to cut off the juice and stop the tank dumping.

At one point I went down to zero nicotine and after I was through initial nicotine withdrawal (where you chain vape) I began to vape less and less to the point I needed juice flow control to prevent flooding.

Usually you vape enough for that not to be an issue, but if your not vaping much it becomes the largest issue you face with a tank.

At one point for my own ease I just stopped using tanks all together and started using an RDA, but before I got to that point, juice flow control was king, and yes it was to shut it down when I wasn't actively vaping.

Yup.... agreed....biggest issue with a lot of tanks. Even my Dvarw's get over saturated sometimes....I generally run 4 plus my Abyss and a dotmod so I need to share my vapes out evenly....but honestly with the Dvarw's it's hardly a problem even without juice flow control.... depends on the tank!
