Are you sure you don't have to unscrew or pop off something metal on the top of the tank. Just looking straight down in your photos, it looks like you took off the drip tip, but the actual cap section is still on the tank.

Nope,the cap is removed properly.
The whole cap i mean it looks exactly like it does in the pics and the videos i saw...it's just the filling area that is completely covered, feels like plastic.
None of the videos or pics i have seen have that same thing,i have no kidney shaped holes to use and the whole area is covered, doesn't look anything like the other's.

Was thinking of trying to take it off...but don't know, not sure.

    Weird thing guys and gals.

Cleaned the atty, put the coil and wicked it,put it all together and then it came time to fill the tank up i see this:

    View attachment 943407

Like a plastic covering EVERYTHING...no kidney hole to fill her up just a slight gap where it takes ages to fill the tank,it actually is supposed to look like this:

Odd...watched like 3 reviews and looked up a ton of pics and in none of them the atty looked like mine.
I have no holes to put the juice in...am i supposed to take that plastic thingy off?

That looks like just the drip tip.

@Javichu If you still can't get the top off, can you unscrew the bottom section? I have the Berserker minis and the tops were so tight that it was just easier to unscrew the bottom and fill the tanks that way.

I looked at the Vandy Vape page for your tank, and it really looks like their side views show that metal section should come off the glass. The plastic cover in your photos looks like it is the liner for the cap and it came apart when you tried to open the tank. Do you have a sideways picture you could post?

The underside of the cap often times has a stiff, spongie material that kind of compresses down on top of the fill ports and seals to prevent juice from coming out. I suppose it's possible that when you took the cap off, the adhesive on that came off with the tank?

Took a pic with better lightning:

I can unscrew the top part as well as the bottom,it all works well but where the fill ports ''should be'' i got this black plastic ring...watched 3 more videos and a ton of pics and none of them look like mine.

@Javichu Not to be the bearer of bad news, but is this also where you purchased your juggy from?

    Different shop ;)

Okay, looking at google images, everything you see on the cap is as it should be - I'm going to guess that it's a moisture barrier strictly for shipping purposes. Pop the tank off of the build deck, grab some ceramic tweezers, and just poke that black piece out through the underside of the fill ports. It looks like you're going to have to separate the glass from the chimney to be able to access those ports.

Or if you have tweezers with a super fine (sharp) tip, you might be able to get under it from the top - unfortunately you're risking scratches if they're metal.

Also try pushing down on one side of that black piece to see if the other side pops up enough for you to get something under it, like tweezers.

Also I apologize if any of this seems condescending - I'm just trying to be very specific is all.

If this is your tank, I think the black plastic is the liner for the top cap. I couldn't find a better picture. I think you could carefully, maybe with some hot, soapy water, take it off the chimney section and re-insert it in the cap. I don't know if it will stay in place next time you try to remove the top cap, but it might be worth a try.

If you compare his picture with this one:
    upload_2021-5-28_10-33-19.png

The metallic beveling at the top (underside of the cap) coincides with what you see in his picture. Also the black piece tapers down into a funnel - that isn't what we see here. I think it's a protective barrier either used for transport, or QC missed it before it was stuffed into a box.

I didn't see a picture of the inside of his top cap. I think the black plastic in his tank matches up to the black ring we can see in your photo. If there is metal on the bottom of Javi's black part, then it probably is the liner for the cap and it just came apart.

Wasn't able to take it out.

Thing is that the airflow has a small ramp to it so when i put in the tweezers it didn't reach that top plastic thing.
Going to leave it like that, sent an email to the vape shop and i will see what they respond...

Had some awful luck with attys this past few months,2 faulty Juggys,my new Reload S+Colossus taken in a grab and dash and now this, gee this ain't normal.

I added a part at the end of that suggestion post - you're going to have to take the glass off of the chimney to be able to access those ports.

I think the warranty route might be best for this one. It really stinks when you get all excited for new toys and then they don't work.

You sure have had some bad luck with tanks. I mean what are the odds that one person gets that many bad tanks. I feel bad for you.

    Ok crisis averted:

    IMG_20210528_174859.jpg

Fully visible filling ports and this right here is the sucker to blame for my headache:

    IMG_20210528_174941.jpg

They emailed back right away, told me to take that off...it did take me a bit since that sucker was well nudged in...and it's plastic plastic, like real rigid.

But to be honest this is just a dampening of ones mood,i mean you're all happy because you getting an atty and you have to deal with this?

Haven't seen one single reference of this ANYWHERE,no reviewers...no videos,no pics and nothing in the instruction manual of said atomizer.

That right there is poor thinking,i am not an engineer so i do not know if said plastic thingy serves a purpose but for arguement sake let's say it does server a purpose.

How is someone supposed to deal with this, you open the cap and you have no idea what is going on.
No videos mention it,nothing on the website, nothing in the instructions...zero, zip, zilch, nada.

I am not one to whine about minutia but yeah i am sending a complaint email to VandyVape to let them know this is BS.
Oh and just in case it was a ''TPD'' thing (tanks of no more than 2ml in the EU) i did look up some Spanish reviews and in not one of them did i see this mentioned.

Meh...now i just want to smash the damn thing or just put it in the box and forget it even exists.
