Question : when your battery wraps get snagged and damaged, do you guys rewrap them, or just toss the battery and buy new ones?
I re wrap and I just use a blow dryer. I have never set a battery on fire. Heat a bit, rest a bit etc so it does not get too hot

I rewrap. Mike Vapes has a good video on YouTube that shows how. It’s really easy just remember to keep your finger on the little insulator on the + side. The first time I tried I spent longer looking for it in the bathroom than it takes to wrap 10 batteries lol.

My first time wrapping, I used an ancient, very weak hair dryer, and one battery took forever. Since I had no use for a new hair dryer, I bought that little heat gun instead, and it works a treat.

i got my batteries so hot i could barely hold them anymore_ still dont understand exactly what the trick is but i got that it's about directing the air and moving with a slight angle and it just shrink, no need to wait for heat

had to redo the doubler on a moli yesterday, charger nicked it

I had been out on the road for a month. I usually don’t stay out longer than 2 weeks but I was in a excellent area where there was good money to be made. I spent 3 hours this morning catching up on the thread and laughing. I really enjoy this thread. Nut sachs

That's like the worst thing you can do to a battery, lol.

For you billet box users I highly recommend trying the Mobb mini. After spending the last month with one I thought I’d post. It has become my go to for me. It’s design ( like the exo and zeta) is extremely easy to wick I’ve yet to get it wrong. The little juice channels work all you have to do is get enough cotton to stop leaks and it just works. Finding the authentic is extremely hard and very expensive but from what I’ve heard the clone is a 1.1 and works just as good. I’ve never owned a atty that you need to keep the coil position up this high ( makes absolutely no sense to me) but the flavor is the best I’ve ever had out of a boro.

There's no doubt the battery cover is a clunky design but you'll get the hang of it.
Make sure the mod is on a table top and upright, then set the battery cover at right angles to the mod, put gentle pressure on the battery side, and holding it flat, swivel it across to snap in place over the tank. It's kind of one motion.
Use your other hand to hold the tank down on its spring-loaded contact.

Okay, I’ve been trying to do it in hand but I’ll try your way.

Battery again seems a bit low considering it’s been 5 hours and this is where I’m running -

I think those of us that review for Sourcemore now have a new brand rep DeloresRose.

Well I did notice the last couple emails I got from them were not signed by the same person - I kind of thought my rep was on vacay, or I was handed over to someone new... I would’ve thought if they were going to switch my rep, they’d just have the new one email me, but I’m new, what do I know?

I want to rewrap my sketchy batteries but I’m intimidated with the idea of rewrapping. I’m thinking my skin will complete the circuit and the battery will blow up. Is rewrapping safe? The battery won’t blow up on me?
It's safe and easy to do. If you don't have a heat gun, use a hair dryer on low power to shrink the new wrap in place having removed the torn one.
The tricky bit for me is holding the insulator ring in place. It can easily blow off and you really need to make sure it's included in the re-wrap. I use a pair of ceramic tweezers to keep it steady until the wrap has curled around it, holding it from escaping. Then just keep heating it until the wrap shrinks tightly around the whole battery.

This happens all the time with brand reps, sometimes they let you know and other times they don't.

If you mean 5 hours of vaping, that seems fine to me. If it's five hours of sitting idle that's not how it should look.
Have you tried a 21700 yet to compare to your other single 21700 mods?

That’s with light vaping - that time of day I’m kind of busy. I would generally expect to see it down to around -30% after supper, if I’d put the battery in first thing in the morning, as I normally do. So closer to 9-10 hours.

And no, haven’t tried with the 21700 yet, I wanted to see if it was just that one 18650 or if I could repeat the results with another one.
