I'd happily get an Ursa just to use it as a 21700 mod. If anyone's using the rba, what's the flavour like?

Is that bottom airflow too or just side? I guess I’ll find out hopefully this week. I threw that into my EV order.

Nother question plz....concerning top fill caps for Dvarws. Not sure if it's only for originals from Steamtuners, or clones as well. If they are available for clones, i'll be very interested. Can someone shine some light for me plz?

Yep they work with the clones Fred. This is the one I have (Ange linked in another post):
    https://www.fasttech.com/p/9688165

You keep the original V3 chimney barrel then you put it’s chimney over the V3’s barrel. I’m still dealing with it’s finickyness. I’ve had two tank dumps so I’ve put it aside for a day when I’ll have more patience and focus. @Pigs knows how to get it going I think.
Hey there Stabwood! The other thing that was ambiguous in the reviews I watched and read was whether to use the "never forget" chimney cap ring with the Steamtuners top fill or not. The answer is don't use it.

So cutting your wicks Bludger technique (sorry - blame Ange for that name :sneaky:) works fine as long as no tails are sticking out to get caught in the revolving juice flow control.

You have to. That's what I was describing.
Yeah, I figured. But I keep hearing the complexity of needing the other hand to hold the tank down simultaneously. Start the thread, swing it over to just before hitting the tank, release hand from holding the battery down, press tank down, seat the cover. I don't own an Abyss, so I cannot claim that this works, but by watching several videos about it, it would appear that this would work.

Well I’m going to try again with that Abyss. The battery I had in it, that I red X’d, charged alright so I’ll pop it in a Dot and see how it lasts.

I figured the Dot would be the closest set up I have on hand and use enough to know how it should function.

It still takes me five tries to get that top on so if anyone has any pointers...

I really want to have a good relationship with this thing - and I love the ether.
You're supposed to put the too cap on at a right angle to the mod and I've found that a firm push down works with sometimes a bit of lateral movement....it's not like threading a battery cap. I agree though it can be finicky sometimes

I've found if you reverse threat it until it kind of "pops" down, then start the threading, it's easier than just guessing when it'll start threading. I too have this issue with some of the battery caps that screw in. On most of the IPX systems, the gasket that seats the cap can add quite a bit of resistance - is that gasket also on the Abyss?

My first time wrapping, I used an ancient, very weak hair dryer, and one battery took forever. Since I had no use for a new hair dryer, I bought that little heat gun instead, and it works a treat.
I used to do mine on the gas stove but after a couple of melted wraps I switched to the hair dryer...it works a treat except thicker wraps can be a PITA.

I'm torn... should I get a VooPoo Drag X Plus or a YiHi SXmini X Class? I'm not even all that interested in the squonk, because from what I read - it's pretty lackluster with its small size and battery usage. More interested in the performance of the chip.
@charlie1465 Don't just agree with me, gimme some feedback! XD

Okay, I’ve been trying to do it in hand but I’ll try your way.

Battery again seems a bit low considering it’s been 5 hours and this is where I’m running - View attachment 943847
That looks about right to me taking into account your specs. Do you chain vape?

Ever since you first posted about this I've been keeping an eye on mine. I'd say with comparable builds/wattage, the Abyss does use up more battery than a Mixx, a Supbox or a BB (clone - sevo 70 board), but not much. Not 30% more in my case.

We need @AngeNZ to buy one so she can do some scientific experiments in her vape lair.
I agree and the Abyss definitely isn't draining my battery whilst not in use. I'm running a menthol mix at the mo and am only vaping it very irregularly to clean my pallette.

I received the air inserts for the Dvarw, but it seems I ordered the wrong ones...TBH I was still new at this Dvarwing thing when I ordered.
Seems I ordered for the FL..not DL....(24mm). Now i'm trying to find 2.0 or 2.5mm for the older DL, but without success....neither FT nor 3F have them. Seems like they don't sell that anymore. It's all just FL now. 16 and 22mm inserts won't work on the 24mm either.
Anybody knows where I can find some 24mm DL inserts plzzz?

Quick question about the Dvarw DL from Fasttech.

Was just rechecking my cart with the items i got ready for the discount on the 2nd of June, getting this Dvarw:

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...rw-dl-v3-styled-rta-rebuildable-tank-atomizer

Maybe i am mistaken but wasn't there something else i had to get, think there was something to make it a top fill or was that another atty?

Memory busted these days, between my allergy meds (allergy season here) and the fact that i can't seem to get a decent night of sleep my brain is working at a mere 5%...

In case i am right with the top fill part this is the one i should be getting right?

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...acement-tank-kit-for-dvarw-dl-v3-rta-atomizer

Dang just realised 2 things, almost 3 am and i am driving my pops to Dialysis at 7 am and in 10 days it will be my b-day...time just seems to go by so quickly, monotonous and dreary and i am going to be one year older.

Can't say 40 something anymore...once you pass the 45 year old mark you closer to 50 which is not cool...

Going to catch atleast a couple hours of ZZZzzz's,cya folks later

I'm pretty certain that you mentioned getting the Juggy Mini from FT https://www.fasttech.com/product/9690901-juggerknot-mini-styled-rta-rebuildable-tank
    Correct me if I'm wrong:thumb:
