I agree about the luxe Q. It's always in my farm top pocket, and I only notice it's there when I grab it.

Which brings me to my problem. My jacket pockets are filthy - lint, fluff, feathers, dust, dirt and of course crap. How do I stop this crap, going into the mouthpiece? The first time I noticed it, I blew out the airflow. But I now keep it in a lil plastic seal top bag, which is a PITA but does the trick.

Anyone got a better idea to keep your pod crap free?

I’d use a baggie too, but I doubt I’d bother zipping it closed. Just fold it over or roll it up because lazy.

hi shinyies_
anyone know what this new pulse2 "without bluetooth function"? it's on pre-order..

No, but the one with Bluetooth is fabulous. I don’t use the Bluetooth because I see no point in it, and if without is cheaper (I’m sure it is) go for it.

3fvape order finally went thru. Took my bank a couple days to send security notification. Got the sxk Wick’d Bridg’d ordered. Can’t find the authentic without giving an obscene amount of $$ so clone on the way.
Did you contact the bank or did they just send the authorisation automatically?

    Morning shinies ;)

Maybe a knife sheath. You could just open the flap and take a hit without needing to remove the mod. If you were closer I'd mail you a few cs120 sheaths that came with the mods.

Perfect solution. That reminded me I got a vaporesso xros pod pouch as free swag when I bought a Mixx from Oz. I use the lanyard as it's a type-c cable, but the pouch on its own may work

Hey all, happy Thursday. My Gaur-21 arrived today and wow is it a handful.

    rSIHnzR.jpg

A 24mm atty looks almost comically tiny on it. I don't know what I was expecting, considering it's dual 21700. I was delighted to find that the chip runs in voltage mode along with power and the temp mode I never use. It's all controllable in the app too, which is overkill but still fun.

The flavor settings are gimmicky as you would expect but overall it's a simple, solidly built mod that feels like it will last a while. Hopefully the battery life will make up for the girth of the thing :D

The biggest difference is they don’t make stuff you can service yourself anymore. All the space age technology is great, lots of major advances, but if you can’t change the dang belt that vacuum isn’t going to sweep for long. Anyone with a screwdriver could tear down a Kirby, and you could buy parts at the local hardware. Now they’re all pop-fitted plastic tabs and you have to be a brain surgeon to figure out how to open them up without breaking them.
There are 2 Kirby service places near me who repair and sell parts for my Kirby. It will last longer than I will. It's like the mech mod of vacuum cleaners. Mine is nearly 60 years young. :D

Looks like they are doing a great job on your fence.

They are. There’s the big gate, about 40’ of wood and the chain link to do tomorrow (lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise)

my house looks a bit alarmed lol.

Lowe’s has been really good about this, they’ve called me almost every day to ask how it’s going. I think they’re concerned because this is taking longer than it should have, and it’s one of their biggest fence jobs this year so they want me happy. A few snags that could not be helped, but the crew has been working hard and the work looks great. They even made sure to get the fence right to the ground (so Georgia doesn’t dig under it) even shoveled dirt up to it all the way around.

Wasn't there an issue with Mac IOS iPhones and tablets talking to the Pulse 2? Maybe VV were sick of getting complaints.
Yup. Apple will not allow the VV App in their App Store. VV is considered an Untrusted Enterprise Developer.

I certainly wouldn't install the app on my iPhone. Who knows what data they (VV, ChengDu TianWen Information Technology Co., Ltd. and www . pgyer . com) might be harvesting.

With iOS 14.5 (now 14.6) there is a new privacy feature that lets a user know which installed apps are attempting to share "your" data. You can now block these malicious types of apps from tracking and using your data. Brilliant feature, IMO.

Android phones do not have such a feature.

VV has an instructional PDF on how to install the VV App on iOS 9 up. Here: Vandyvape APP Download | VANDY VAPE® Full Steam Ahead

    from the PDF....
When you install the VV App on an iOS device you are prompted to trust "iPhone Distribution: ChengDu TianWen Information Technology Co., Ltd." Apps on This iPhone.

Also, if one installs the VV App, the app wants to connect to some strange website ( pgyer . com ).

Even with the new iOS privacy features, ummm, no freakin' way do I trust said Chinese information tech company or some strange website.

Your new fence looks really nice. There is always a snag or two with home improvement jobs.

I think you need to have a moat installed now. Then your castle would be fully up to spec. :D

    Couldn't agree more SMT.
I think a lot of people are still naive about "free" apps on their devices. Either that or they just don't care about their personal information being stored and shared.

I'm super careful with my Android phone - I uninstall apps when I'm not using them and disable all permissions except the absolutely necessary ones on the Apps while in use. Even then I feel uncomfortable with most.
If an App requires access to my contacts or other parts of my device un-related to the functioning of the app in question, I won't install it.

You are spot-on about people and their not caring about their personal information. Many just go with "they already know everything", laugh and give up. I know many folks like that. Betting you do too.

What you are doing is the way to go Pigs. I've prevented all the apps I've installed on my iOS devices from access to my data and also any kind of tracking.

On the Mac's I have setup for internet access I installed firewall software that tells me when an app wants to connect with some external entity, who the entity is and any IP addresses. I can allow a connection permanently, temporarily or deny it permanently.

I hid it from her
I installed a new battery in my inheireted (much prefer androids) iphone 6 this morning. She thought it was Christmas when I brought out the toolkit. I threw her a spudger and she let me do the job in peace :D

When I saw the state of the li-ion battery, I was tempted just to throw the phone out the window:
    iphonebatt.jpg

It should be flat, and obviously not swollen like this. I removed it delicately like I would a pipe-bomb, and it's now outside in a container until I can recycle it.

I had no idea phone batteries could gas like this, but of course it's a li-ion battery. I replaced it as it started going from 80% to 0% every few days. The phone is mainly used as an alarm clock, but it is old. And it used to belong to my sis and was permanently attached to her ear

Anyway I'm extremely glad I replaced it, instead of just putting up with its crappy battery life. I'm also bloody glad it didn't burst.
