I got shipping notification this morning from sourcemore for the Hyperion I ordered. I thought it was funny that my order still says Scutum on it since I preordered before they changed the name.

I got the Scutum email as well. Will be interesting to see what we get.
No news on the replacement for the Arez. I think you are waiting on an updated version as well.

I almost hope mine says Scutum on it but am pretty sure it won't. I haven't heard anything either yet on the replacement for the Arez. I might look for that email and respond to see if they have a timeline. They might be like a lot of the companies I deal with at work and could be having a hard time getting parts. I've had circuit boards take as much as three months to arrive.

Nothing like a little early Friday morning enabling. I saw on FB that innokin is offering a limited edition velvet brown leather Z80 kit. I enabled myself and ordered one. It's only going to be available on their website from what I understand.

I think they recently started using one. Mine is doing the same thing. They gave a weird tracking number that began with an A but doesn’t track through usps. My last couple orders have been like that.

I looked for info about the tracking numbers beginning with an 'A' after seeing several folks on ECF with those.

The first one that jumped out at me was AliExpress. They're a large online Chinese company ( AliExpress - Online Shopping for Popular Electronics, Fashion, Home & Garden, Toys & Sports, Automobiles and More products - AliExpress ) and apparently a carrier. AliExpress Standard Shipping Courier Tracking, Shipping Tracking, Parcel Tracking | track and trace

The website link on that page leads to Global Cainiao, a carrier.
I wonder, if you were to enter your tracking number there what you would see???

Go to the bottom of that page and you'll see a couple familiar websites.

Yup....I tried to buy two but they don't ship to France. I emailed sales and they said it was because they can't find a carrier. Strange though as my Z80 win came via post NL..... Bizarre.

Not sure about FT. I haven't ordered from them in a long time. For my last Sourcemore order they used a reshipper in the Chicago area. The label had it coming from someone down that way.

Maybe try popping the tracking number in Universal Parcel Tracking - Global Package Tracking and see what they show. They usually show more tracking info for international packages.

It’s different than usual. I follow on 17track. Usually I can plug the number into Usps and get “not in possession yet” or some such quip before it hits the US, but on this one it doesn’t even identify it. I checked this morning, and it just says “in transit within the country”, so at least it’s left Cali.

They are the same coils. The .3 coil came out when they released the Kroma Z and as far as I know the .8 is the same one they've made for a long time. That deal at FT really isn't that great. Can you order from Sourcemore? They are only $6.39 a box there versus $9 at FT. I got all of my .3 coils from sourcemore.

nevermind. Sheesh. Hand me the dunce cap. I had 5 things in my cart from before that I never pulled the trigger on. Once I signed in, it combined both carts. I whittled it down to where it needed to be and shipping was $10 ish.
I tried to use Paypal and it says "thank you, pending" we shall see.

The outer coiling was uneven compared to the rest of the coil or the leg wasn't trapped quite under the post. Try strumming it gently next time and make sure the post grub nuts are tight....just my two cents

I'll recoil it. I think you're right with it not being trapped enough - not to mention my compulsive kinky leg syndrome
