On the way with some spare wire. From sourcemore and a really good price too, $24.53.

As you know it took me a good long while, but in the end you got me there.

Besides, with my soon to be Brunhilde SbS I couldn't just have one lonely Brunhilde lady in the house.

She will need a good friend to hang with and one who speaks German. They will be paired together. My Dvarw's are upset they won't get to sit on top of the Brunhilde SbS, but too bad, they'll get over it. I mean, it just didn't feel right having a rowdy little Dvarw on a Brunhilde SbS. I needed to make it right. I did!

Plus my heritage is German, so it really was just a matter of Time.

Hey Big Man. I'm a bit peed off actually. I love how it vapes, but the damn thing has that dreaded taste of machining oil. Can't get rid of it either. I've thrown it into the ultrasonic bath twice now...soapy water, but it's still there.
I plan to do a side by side on the same tobacco juice with it, and the two bigger Dvarw brothers...22 and 24. For what it's worth, I want to see if my 40 yr smoke battered taste buds can detect a difference...:D
I'll have to get back to you ;)

I’m glad you mentioned that (not glad you experienced it). I never had a machine oil taste that wouldn’t go away until recently. I’ve had two atties this year that I washed repeatedly and still tasted weird. I thought it was just me, but now I wonder if there’s a different oil being used.
I thought, it must be my coil, it must be the cotton. So I cleaned and rebuilt them. Still oily.

Finally I just left one of them sit, full of juice, probably for a week or two. That seemed to help. I can’t remember what the first one was off the top of my head, but the second was the Wotofo troll x.

Not sure I'm with you there Fred. The computer monitor you're reading this on, the battery chargers you use and probably most smaller everyday electronic devices in your home have AC/DC convertors in them. Either that or they use DC from batteries.
Ah I only know the bare basics of electricity/electronics mate. I stand corrected, but I always had it that DC is delivered to a neighborhood where it's transformed to AC for general household use....?
The same I see happening with the Z 80...DC from the battery is converted to AC at the coil.

I'm sorry to hear it has the taste of machine oil.

Here is what you need to do:

Take your 16mm Dvarw completely apart and soak the all the parts in vinegar for an hour or two. Vinegar will cut through any oil, grease and grime in one easy step. After an hour you'll notice how dirty the vinegar gets, then you know it is doing its job.

Then use a sponge or rag soaked in vinegar and wipe each part down real good, that will get rid of any remaining oil. Next wash the parts in some warm to hot dish soap. Repeat if needed, but usually one good soaking, and wipe down, with vinegar will get rid of any machine oil.

Make sure you do the o-rings, insulators and drip tip too.

Use white vinegar. It is safe to use vinegar for cleaning o-rings.

Good luck :)

My Dvarw's are all muttering under their breath in Hungarian....I can't understand a word of it but I'm pretty sure they're swearing a lot....:D
I've read a lot about the Brunhilde RTA's and watched several videos. Many folks are of the opinion that they are more like an RDA with a tank sitting underneath versus a conventional RTA. I have to tip my hat to the German 103 design team.

The build deck sits right under the drip tip, just like an RDA. Therefore the vape is much more condensed. And per many, more flavorful, as with any RDA I own. Everyone says the vape is more RDA like. I do love my RDA's. :p

From the videos I watched building is as easy as any RDA. A cinch. Build deck pic...

I think @Daniel Forsyth is on to something with the Brunhilde's. Perhaps the rest of us are just sloooooow in getting where he is at. ;)

You should buy one Charlie. :thumb:

I don't know why Innokin isn't acknowledging their Velvet Brown Z80 was likely inspired by and in honor of this accomplished musician.

Velvet Brown also sounds like the name of one of Pam Grier's detective characters in the 70's.

It's a toss up. Pretty sure it's one of these two though.:D

Me too, from Innokin. It looks like it's coming through the Netherlands post. Must have patience!
I don't know if you remember but I tried to buy from innokin.com and they didn't ship to France even though they sent my win here....that was sent via postNL.... anyway long story short they have now added France to their country list when I pointed the above out to customer support :)

Same as having a small chimney surely.....does it produce a hot vape as I like my vapes to be on the cool side?

@Daniel Forsyth you may want to speak up here :)

    Somewhere between here and there
Got shipping confirmation on the Z80.

I got tracking this morning and was sorely disappointed that it is coming via Netherland Post. They have a warehouse in Texas that could put it here in a few days instead of weeks. By the time it arrives I will have forgotten that I ordered it.

Hey all, happy hump day! Hope everyone is doing well <3 As some may recall, I recently lost my super-duper secret source for cheap Prohibition Juice. After some deep Googling, I found another vendor that isn't quite as cheap but still much better than their $30/100ml retail price.

    PWYAhGQ.jpg

So I stocked up, big time. Hopefully I'll be set for a while now. I really missed this flavor. It's just so damned good. My secret cheap vendor had screwed up my last two orders on it and sent me 6mg. You'd think that wouldn't be too much of a problem but I just can't vape the stuff and believe me, I tried :D Anything over 3mg is too strong now and anything under 3mg is meh. I guess I'm just going to be a forever 3mg vaper. Oh well, band-aid on the issue for now.

In other shiny news, my RCM Infinity Twist has left Moscow and is currently in transit across the pond. Now it just needs to clear customs wherever it lands. Fingers crossed

Your very much on the ball there Mate:thumb:
They're just like an RDA as far as the wicking goes, just plonk your wick straight into the well on top of the SS rods. And she's better flavour than an RDA:drool::w00t:
