I have a Keirug coffee machine and I bought 3 boxes of 100 pods. San Francisco Bay coffee and it is way too strong. I use a bigger cup, run a pod through, then remove the pod and run it again, capturing 1/2 the plain hot water in my cup of coffee. Then I have an extra-large cup of coffee that is just right. An ordeal of sorts but I cannot toss 300 pods since I paid over $100 for them

    Somewhere between here and there
I have a cuisanart coffee grinder. It was only like $30. I buy the organic coffee beans at sams club and grind a weeks worth in a couple minutes. My coffee maker has a grinder built in that’s good for just one pot but I get tired of cleaning it so just bought a separate grinder.

i just use a stove top moka/espresso pot

preground $3 p/pack generic dark roast

i have cut down a lot. When i smoked 70 p/day, every second cig i'd have a coffee. I am down to 10 or 15 a day now
I use a moka pot too! I'm a coffee snob. Dripstyle and keurig coffee literally don't do anything for me. I don't even feel it. Gimme strong coffee, brewed well and I'm a happy sloth :)

Moka pot=More flavor because you can actually make espresso (takes some skill) or just really good coffee.
Only downside is you can't make like a huge amount of coffee.

Percolator=You can make a large amount of coffee at once.
And yes i said coffee, can't really call it espresso.

If you chasing flavor i suggest a Moka Pot,if is the closer you can get to an espresso without using a proper Espresso Machine.

Small piece of trivia,if you watched movies of the western genre you probably seen them use percolators when they were camping outside, that is what they used to brew their coffee.
