This is what i've found so far on the VVC coils (for the Jackaroo)...and it's a major let down for me. Keep in mind I use home extracted tobacco that burns (the cotton) much quicker because of the natural sugars, oils etc it contains... It's a mix of Virginia/Caramel/Pistachio.Let me know what the difference is, please.
I probably shouldn’t admit this, but given I’m waiting on additional coils…. I’m on puff 3785 on the first 0.9 coil. Honestly, it still tastes fine, a little muted. But, I’m not surprised. I’m 4 holes open as well. This is what i've found so far on the VVC coils (for the Jackaroo)...and it's a major let down for me. I started off with the 0.3 coil...not my preferred one. I didn't zero the puff counter, but it felt like it lasted forever... to my reconing, it must've been over 300puffs..which is a WOW for NET.
Next I put in the 0.6..my favourite coil. I zeroed the counter, and started my staircase to vape heaven...or so I thought. I couldn't believe it when I only got just over 100 puffs before I tasted the burn. To say the least i'm surprised..and bummed as I love the coil and was expecting more...
Then I installed the 0.9 coil. I liked it. I gave me a perfect midway between MTL and RDL...not to loose, not to tight. Problem is I only got 97 puffs from it...another bummer.
So now I have another 0.3 back in again..and at 250 puffs already..and it still going strong...i'll let you know exactly how many puffs I got from it.
I kept the airflow the same on all 3 coils...4 holes open on both sides of the airflow ring.
I'm now convinced this 0.3 ohm coil is the one for me. It also does give better flavor than the others.
Yeah than don't surprise me. I wanted to say on regular juices it'll last at least 10 times longerI probably shouldn’t admit this, but given I’m waiting on additional coils…. And it’s a clapton, not an alien. I went to swap the insert and unscrewed the freaking coil instead. So, yeppers, new coil and wick. I set it aside until my brain starts functioning
Apparently I’m only rated for pods today![]()
Second coil is doing the same. Tank isn’t quite as hot, but it’s just weird. I’ll finish the juice, then do a total breakdown and see what I can find.My guess is a hot leg or a major hot spot. Putting in your new coil should fix that. Unless you like having hot legs![]()
I may have to order one, then. I have black, and the grey suede. But, one for stainless attys would be nice. They’re about the perfect size and weight for me.Ordered my second Coolfire z80 kit this morning.
Nearly ordered one last week, but I wanted to give it another week - just to see if anything cropped up that would annoy me.
The only thing that annoyed me, was waiting a whole week to order no. 2. I'm a lost cause
I went for leather white again, as it cracks me up that this is the perfect colour for a MessyBessie©

Both coils had a nice even glow. I’ll double check coil placement tomorrow. It’s beefier than my usual simple contact coil. Maybe I have it too high?Take some pics of the deck if you can. Check when you're dry burning it, that it's not sparking anywhere too.
