I tried going from my usual 18 to 12 recently and it just made me vape more.....maybe it would have settled down but I couldn't do it and reverted. I was the same when I started sub-ohming 18....I can't do that now though makes me feel NIC sick pretty quickly.
I don't think the NIC level matters as much as how much you puff on it...if a high level slows you down then cleaner lungs imo.... YMMV :)

I’ve said this before, that I look for a balance between how much nic I need, and how much I just want to vape.
Most days about 5-7mls of 6 mg suits my needs. I am finding it’s not always enough though. I was making some 25 mg pod juice to get me over those humps, and just a few puffs to kickstart me in the morning helped a lot. I need to make some more of that. A lot of these recent pods won’t be great for that but I still have some minifit pods I could dig up.

I have around 5-7 mls of 18 so not sure how I'm going to do it...maybe more gradually would work like @hittman 15. I can't do pods...no way.

She’s completely adorable!
I know what you mean that she saved you.
When I lost all of my humans, I had Rudy, Ozzy, and 3 birds. Then I lost Rudy, my parrot and my lovebird. I went from 2 humans and six pets to just me, one dog, and one cockatiel.
Poor Rudy was so stressed he lost 80% of his hair. I thought I was going to lose him too.

I didn’t think I could make it without him. I found Georgia and it was live at first sight. I’ve had a lot of dogs and they all got along (except one, who got rehomed) but I have never seen doggy love like this.

They were inseparable from the word go. When we lost Rudy last year, G cried in her sleep for weeks.
I am really looking forward r a buddy for her, but it’s so hard... I want her to fall in love like that again but it feels like that was a once in a lifetime thing.

So sorry about all of your losses. Something similar happened to me several years ago, and I had a breakdown of sorts. My fur babies kept me going. Their love is so pure. I hope you find the perfect mate for Georgia. Do you have a picture of Rudy from the front?

Keep in mind though that I mostly do DL wide open 810 RDAs. So 6 ml hits pretty hard. I’d probably have to go 12 mg if I were using something like the abyss all the time. And I adore my dots and BB but it’s hard for me to get my fix like that. You’ll just have to match your juice to your device and that’s all trial and error.
I’m not a big pod fan either, but there have been some nice ones lately- and especially since I’m getting them for reviews, I’m using them when I need pocket friendly stuff. Just, for me, some would be a bit much with salts at 25 mg - the whirl t1 would be good, and maybe the Luxe Q. I don’t think the Kroma z or Thelema would be restricted enough.

He was always sitting cross legged like that. I’d have another just like him in a heartbeat but Papillon are so hard to find. I would totally pay someone to transport one for me. (I’m serious about that so inquire if interested).

@Pigs, how many do you have and how long did it take you to get them? :)
I don't really know how many but probably less than most of the members here. I've only been vaping since May 2016. I buy mods pretty carefully based on designs I like, how well I think they'll last, and what I can afford.. The idea of a throwaway device doesn't sit well with me.

My eldest brother, a psychologist, told me this; after all that trauma it’s amazing nicotine is my drug of choice. I’m sane and sober and whatever I have to do to stay that way is forgivable.
Such a powerful statement for you and now me and all of us really

Exactly! The less of anything I breathe in the better. I had to start mixing lower for high output devices when I review them otherwise I can barely use them. No way I can do 3-400 puffs at 70-80 watts with 12mg.

I use pods at work since I have to stealth vape but also have a snus portion in most of the day too.

I got a not so pleasant surprise this morning. I took apart one of my Abyss last night to clean and put a new coil in. I had trouble getting it back together but finally did. Got up this morning and the tank was empty and had leaked enough that it got the bottom of two other mods wet. Not sure why. I took it apart cleaned it again and put it back together. So far it’s not leaked again that I can tell.

I hadn’t used my other Abyss much lately so grabbed it and was going to take a couple puffs then clean it out for storage since I just had too many mods going. The battery was completely drained and I don’t know if it’s ruined or not. I have it in the charger on refresh so I’ll see what happens. Seems like the 13th is carrying over to the 14th

Probably just a misplaced bottom oring. It's the same thing with BB's and any other Boro style device. Always risky though especially a BB as the DNA board is right underneath the positive pin although I think that the Abyss's have a pretty well sealed pos pin. Might still be a good idea to take the base off and check for juice ingression.....

@DeloresRose I am sorry, I saw AngeNz at the top of your post and thought the conversation was with her. So my last message to AngeNz should have been to you... I was asking how long you have been in the Shiny group so basically how long has it taken you to get to nearly 100? Im a bit concerned you arent quoting an exact number as in you know every one of them lol. Keeping a photographic record with dates is a great idea, I think I will do that... so if I am ever close to 100 I will be able to tell the newbies exactly :)

Where am I up to. Quick summary first, I started smoking at 9 because my brother wouldnt let me in his cubby house if I didnt. His best friend was going out with my friend so I wanted in. Age 14 about 10-15 a day, 18 I was on 50 a day. I have given up previously for thirteen years, then obviously started again, did another 1 year off, started again. I bought my first vapes about 3 years ago. Had a stint with them, then they sat in the cupboard.

Recently, about a month ago I got everything out again. I still have juice in the bottom of the fridge, totally out of date I imagine but that is what I am using. Its tobacco hi nic watered down. Im using 50/50pg vg and my mod is a Pico mega that the screen doesnt work on. I also have a normal pico but prefer the mega. I have just received my first mech mod and rta tanks and bought 2 Geekvape Solos a couple of days ago. I thought I did well as everyone else seemed to be getting 3  I have coils for RTAs and wire and cotton and everything all on order. I am still having cigarettes when I go out, but mostly at home Im vaping and loving it. I just found out from finding the US restrictions that nic cant be shipped to Aus, but Im down to about 3-5% anyway and I told a friend this morning that I think I will be off the smokes by the end of the month. A lot of my stuff will have arrived and if I can get some nice flavors that I enjoy I think I will be okay. I have a big sweet tooth and having something I really enjoy vaping I think will help massively. So I need to find out where everyone gets their counters from on their profile showing the date they quit and how many smokes they didnt have. I want it ready, Im feeling very positive :)

Everyone here is amazing and helpful and encouraging. Im really glad I came back here. It was mainly for information to help me get going with rtas and things like that, but I have found it to be so much more, hence Im a Shiny... I want to do diy juices, and Im going to end up knowing a truckload about rtas and ohms and whatever else gets added to the mix, and have a lot of laughs and fun with an amazing bunch of people. I can understand why you are still here... and why you have so many mods lol. Thank you for asking about me xxx

I recently had the same issue with one of mine. They sent me a replacement. It didn't do it when I first got it and then just started one day. Previously to that it would sit for ages without losing charge. I must try it without a bridge in it and see if it stops doing it. Thinking it may be a posi pin issue again!!
