Not feeling well so I’ve been up since 2:30. Sitting here with my morning coffee and I kept hearing some critter bumping around under the front porch. And I know it’s just some woodland creature, a skunk? An opossum? But it was kind of giving me the creeps That’s what I get for binging horror movies I guess.

@Javichu good grief man, you have the worst luck ever. I hope you get that sorted out.

Jeez Charlie. That's awful. Fires like that leave so much fear and damage in their wake. It makes me cry to think of all the little creatures un-homed and the good people who have their life's work destroyed.

I get sad for the creatures more than the people, sorry to say. They are helpless and blameless (plus I like creatures more than people)

For the prime, my vote is no. 4 RED. And I'll try a 3mm in the Ursa next rewick.

I've finally finished my mass RTA recoiling. The ni80 30*2/40 coils all lasted roughly 3 months - before they got too icky looking. And that was with me lazy coil cleaning, so I'm happy with that.

How long do coils last for you guys?

I finally got the vandy vape pre wound 2.5mm clapton coils I ordered in June from FT. USPS had initially marked it delivered until I called and then found it and it went in and out of state three times before it finally got delivered.

Taken from my notepad on my PC. I run 4 of the same atty. Different color, in TC. Cleaned and fresh wick at flavor changes.

No they don't seperate mate. I think you're seeing the masking tape I use to write on....identifying the different tobaccos.
My first few liquids were a bit cloudy because I used coffee filters and a finer filter only.
The bulk of it are cristal since I discovered freeze filtering. I leave the already well filtered concentrates in the freezer for 2 weeks for the natural sugars to coagulate. I then filter it inside the freezer (coffee filter) and seperate the blob of sediment (mostly sugar).
I then leave it in a cool dark cupboard for 2 weeks again so the natural oils can seperate. Then I again filter using a 2micron lab filter.
It then comes out cristal clear...and much more coil friendly.

Mine last about a month of heavy use before I change them. Dry burned and rinsed/brushed at every rewick.
I could stretch that out longer but I love the taste of newer coils.
