Mine last about a month of heavy use before I change them. Dry burned and rinsed/brushed at every rewick.
I could stretch that out longer but I love the taste of newer coils.

Good point about the usage, that makes a huge difference. Mine are 1 of 6 in use during 70% of my daily total - that has now been skewed to 1 of 7 thanks to Fred's rba. Which is going to screw up my next results as I want to try it with a 3mm id, way before it's due!

And I haven't included my 4 Axials who get 25% of the day, because their coils are all in the icky basket.

I love the extended battery life of 21700 mods, so I've been staying away from the single 18650 mods, but I love the look of this one, so order in :)

After what I hope was a very pleasant time in NL, the special order velvet brown finally arrived. It looked gray to me, until I held it next to the ash gray.
But, not quite the leather brown I expected.
    Still, a very pleasant vape.View attachment 954195

Yes, each of us that bought one have mentioned the color being different from what we expected.

How long do coils last for you guys?
Roughly the same but I find that they gunk up much more quickly as they get older and I end up wicking more....in an ideal world I think that a change over every month, six weeks would be better.

No they don't seperate mate. I think you're seeing the masking tape I use to write on....identifying the different tobaccos.
My first few liquids were a bit cloudy because I used coffee filters and a finer filter only.
The bulk of it are cristal since I discovered freeze filtering. I leave the already well filtered concentrates in the freezer for 2 weeks for the natural sugars to coagulate. I then filter it inside the freezer (coffee filter) and seperate the blob of sediment (mostly sugar).
I then leave it in a cool dark cupboard for 2 weeks again so the natural oils can seperate. Then I again filter using a 2micron lab filter.
It then comes out cristal clear...and much more coil friendly.
Interesting and yes I wondered if it was some kind of label. Sounds like you've got the process down to a tee!! Crystal clear sounds good....you don't want any nasties left in there....tar especially :)

    Morning Shinies

@Pigs I agree. The taste of a fresh coil is best but as @AngeNZ pointed out there are so many variables across the board.....I have eight setups going at the moment so usage is less for each....except perhaps my favourite juice of the moment.

Have a good day everyone

What I like the most (apart from the flavor) is the thought that I know exactly what i'm vaping...tobacco, VG and PG...nothing else.
Nah mate, tar is only created by ignition of the tobacco.
I tried as much I could to not buy tobacco which has been cased (when it's sprayed with a flavorant). I'm constantly telling myself i'm a proper organic tobacco vaper now. Tobacco has never tasted this good to me. I can kick my own ... that I ever lit up tobacco....:-x. It tastes vile (lit up), compared to vaping it.

You could also try Doctor Who from the beginning. I'm thinking of tackling that next.

I’m on season 7 of the original. Now I have to pay for all the newer ones - $20 per season. But I’ll probably get them.
I’ve been through Miss Marple, Midsommer Murders, Murdock Mysteries and Golden Girls 2-3 times this year. Trying to save my re-Bosch for fall. Speaking of, there’s going to be a spin off but I’m not sure when that drops. Spring, I bet.

@AngeNZ that’s an impossible question for me to answer because if a coil is still good, when I need a change of pace I just clean the atty and leave the coil in. I estimate about 30 atties are in my cubby with coils in them, some of them I’m sure are close to two years old, maybe even older. But I rotate so often...I know a couple of them are high mileage but I rarely vape one thing for more than a couple weeks at a time.
