Just a heads up. My Brunhilde mod just auto fired. Or I should say, I took a hit, and it didn’t stop firing after I let off the fire button. I just put a battery in it and an atty on it this morning, maybe4-5 hours ago. It hasn’t been dropped or anything. It did not feel like the button was stuck, it still pushes in and comes back out. Although I did not care for how flush it is, even before this happened.
that's not good

Sounds like you got a defective one. I'd request a replacement.

I got this for review, so I’ll let them know. I just wanted you guys to be keeping an eye out just in case.

From Sourcemore? I got mine for review from them and one of the coils had been opened in the foil pack. I'd definitely let them send you a new one. They wouldn't want you reviewing a defective product.

Isn't that the point of a review, to give a warts and all assessment of whatever's in front of you?

Yikes. That's not good. That's actually very bad... Sorry, Delores.

No company, no matter what they make will have a zero failure rate. If they did then I wouldn't have a job doing repairs. If the device has a bad board or something then why not ask for a working unit so you can properly test it. Now if it doesn't perform well then definitely report any issues or defects but how can you review a device that you can't even fire correctly?

I love quieter buttons over loud clicky-clacky ones.
I have no preference. As long as it vapes when I press the button, I'm good. :thumb:

But if I did have a preference, I would like it if one of my mods made a clicky sound 6 seconds before sounding a train air horn. Something like the Viking Horns V101C a train horn kit designed to fit any vehicle, or vape mod. It has three, chrome plated trumpet horns that have the ability to reach 149 decibels.

I would love to pull up behind a bunch of cars at a stop light and give that a go. Take a vape, 6-5-4-3, and then hold it outside the window 2-1.

Fair points. As a consumer I'd still like to know that the reviewer did receive a faulty unit, even if they got a replacement for further testing. It speaks to the QC of a company.

@charlie1465 I'm a few days late, but here's my current mob:

ThIs is just the penned-in flock. There's also another Dvarw/Mixx and 2 Zenith IIs/KromaZs free roaming.

That makes sense. I think that would be good to mention in the review. Sometimes review samples are first run edition which are assembled by engineering or non production people to get samples out to reviewers so they can be different from what a person receives when they buy a production model. However, I’m sure the Brunhilde she received was not a first run since it’s been out a while.

Can’t really review it if it’s broken though. I will mention it, but my opinion is any item can be defective, that doesn’t mean all of the line should be canned, unless it turns out to be an issue that happens to a lot of them.
And it will not impact my thoughts on the features and flaws of the device as it’s meant to be.

    Morning shinies ;)

    Buttons straw poll!
Since we all like different things, I'm curious. I love quieter buttons over loud clicky-clacky ones.

I think it's in part due to me working with 1500 noisy clicky-clucky-clacky chickens

I don’t mind a no click, and there are good clicks and bad clicks. Some of ‘em sound like I’m training my dog and they are definitely bad clicks.

I lived half my life by train tracks, then my husband worked for the railroad. That’s the soundtrack of my life.

It seems like it’s been out long enough that if there were a lot of people having trouble with it we’d have heard about it.

I agree. The people on the forum seem to love it. Not like the Arez 120 where there was a common problem with many but the customer service was good and they replaced them.
