He lived about a mile from our old house. Dahmer liked to keep "things" in his fridge.

Hmmm, my state also was the home of Ed Gein. See Inside The Real-Life House Of Horrors That Inspired 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'

He was the inspiration for the villains of several horror films, including Leatherface in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs, and Norman Bates in Psycho.
Yikes...I almost clicked the 'useful' thingy down there :w00t:

I don't think Jeffrey Dahmer used a garbage disposal either. Sometimes folks like to make a difference in this world. It's commendable...

I have a neighbor that has one of those rechargeable lawnmowers. Poor guy, if he only realized all of us neighbors can clearly hear him cursing that mower every times he mows the grass.

I have a gas rider and a battery push mower, leaf blower, and weed whip. My battery stuff is zero problem. The rider gives me grief though. I’m still kind of impressed that it has survived me for 6 years. I haven’t exactly been easy on it.

Well, useful would have worked ok. In the normal world it takes a very skilled craftsman to make lamp shades, chair coverings, bowls, tableware and custom belts. :D

In Shiny news, I'm still waiting on the Kumo I ordered a while back. I bought a Tek Division Legacy dna 60 SBS. Waiting on that too.

I have recently seen an uptick of negativity towards solar panels in a discussion group I am in. I am totally ignorant on the subject and still trying to figure out the pros and cons. I have read some horror stories concerning leans against property, loans, and dissatisfied customers.

I want a windmill in my yard. One of those big ones too.. Less grass to mow.

Windmills are horribly ugly. My town is surrounded by them. And we found out last winter just how reliable they really are. I, fortunately, never lost electricity, but just about everyone else in the state did at one point or another.

Our yards are a little over a half acre. His lawn mower only cuts a 16" swath... It takes him about 2 hours to cut it, and that's only if he charged it well. I think it's one of the cheap models.
    Again, lawns are dumb.

One of the biggest drawbacks of home alt energy is unrealistic expectations. A modestly sized solar array just isn't going to power a whole home. The investment in panels and ancillary equipment makes the payback questionable in my opinion. That might explain the horror stories.

(up on the soapbox again) The biggest lie of the green future is that we will be able to maintain our current extravagant lifestyles on renewables only. It's only viable if we cut our consumption of energy way down. They won't tell us that because the support would evaporate.
Yup, we spoiled brats would need to change a ton of our spoiled brat ways to make a dent in the problem.

Damn the last few days i've been using the Cabeo on the College almost exclusively. It's the most glorious tank. I'm afraid when the second one arrives, it's going to push the Kumo off the Mixx.
I'm actually feeling guilty about not using the other ones, so I now and again sneak a puff in rotation from them....but it's always quickly back to this Cabeo.
