I got the Helheim rdta set up tonight. I was confused at first. I thought there was supposed to be the wire ropes but this one doesn’t use them. It came with a squonk pin but haven’t tried it yet.
Love that grass...tough, better looking and needs less mowing to. I'm trying to get it established here on my front and side lawns. On vaccination I cut a bag full of runners and planted them. As it grows roots I stick them into holes I dig between the existing grass. There's a huge fight going on, but this is winning...their runners are creeping in all directions and slowly taking over.
My existing grass is to whimpy. It dies for no apparent reason...also between the dogs and me, we created a sea of dead spots

Mine is more weedy and wild.
We take it in turns mowing each other's lawns and today was my turn.
The frog probably came from my pond but was under the neighbour's pot plant resting up.
I noticed her when I shifted the pot to get those edge bits mowed. So much rain lately, they move around a lot.
I thought I'd squished the poor thing but she's ok.
We have no lawn. Probably 2 years until construction over. Large dead spots (jokes are large swimming pool, Seattle style). I still go outside to vape, but not as much as when I smoked (smoking indoors in Seattle practically nil, but vaping sometimes okay, depending on apartment complex, I prefer to vape outside most of the time, kitty). The two guys in my avatar died, 17 and 15 years old, tough life, but I gave them the best I could from 2009 onwards.

I never smoked in the house because of the awful stench. My main reason for quitting was the the smell all over me.
I do vape in the house in mostly two rooms. I have large air purifiers in each room and exhale my vape always away from my cat and dog towards the purifiers. Seems to help. I hope so anyways.
I may have found an original single coil Recurve on a diff Forum. It’s gunmetal which isn’t the worse and has all the original boxes and accessories.

I’ve been playing around with the two airflow controls and have discovered that I am getting better flavor with the top airflow closed and the bottom one about half open. I used one of the included coils which is .35. I’m running at 34 watts right now getting pretty good flavor. I probably could have cut the coil shorter to bring it closer to the deck but I’m really liking it so far.
TBH i've never heard it called Buffalo grass is South Africa. We simply called it LM. It's a native from there. Yeah the only problem with it, is it doesn't do good come winter.
