Gees that's not good. Mine was clean...unless i'm to dumb to have noticed. I always worry about oil but never clean anything beforehand. I can only remember of once I tasted oil...ever.

I have been using a 2.5mm round wire coil in it so far....I only use round wire....i'm a simple man.
Been thinking of doing a 3.0mm one, but there's not much space in there....don't want to run the risk of smelting that airflow ring.
Anyway I made a 3.0mm flat wire and it fits nicely. Slapped on the original 810 drip tip to. Now it's exploding with flavor. I'm convinced 3.0mm coils make more flavor than 2.5mm.
I'm running mine through the ultrasonic cleaner right now. That'll sort any residual oil.
I'm using 2.5 too but I did notice that on Mark Todd's video he used a 3mm. Might give it a try but my only 3mm drop ins are SS but I could always make one I suppose....lazy :)

I never touch my Clapton's with a brush....to much chance of f**king the outer wire imo. I just dry burn and give them a blow job :D
For several years I have used a dedicated soft toothbrush to clean the coil under hot water Before dry burn. Never tried a metal brush.
Also after looking at it for months I ordered a Cabeo on FT. The only thing that keep me from it earlier is wondering how I would clean the coil under the sink. Guess I will leave that step out. I am also not a fan of removing the top to add liquid but we shall see. Looking forward to giving it a shot.

Ok guys I need some help.

I have a friend who is a casual vaper and has been borrowing and destroying my mods. Just managed to kill two Vinci X pod mods (he had washed one out and presented it to me. I opened up the battery compartment and water flooded out. I explained to him again about battery safety and showed him some youtube vids of 18650 batteries venting. He went pale) He's a nice guy but is very impractical. So I need to give him advice about a setup that he can buy.

He can't be trusted to safely manage external battery mods and chargers so I'm thinking a rugged internal battery mod kit. Drop in coils for sure. He would be happiest vaping around 40 to 60W with plenty of air.

Any thoughts ? I want to try and buy something online with him today and I need it to come from a local Aus site. @AngeNZ does anything come to mind?

Geekvape Aegis,
Marvos any other waterproof or ip67/8 rated mod.

Yeah the only thing that kinda bugs me about the Cabeo..and Kumo is you can't really flush it under the tap. I do do it though...I tilt it heavily so the water can't run into the tank. I also don't do it for long...just a quick splash. That's all it needs actually.
Filling it is a dream...compared to a Dvarw for instance. Pop the cap, fill it and pop the cap back on :thumb:

Here I have been vaping for almost 8 years and I am still learning stuff.
Awh come on.....you'll never learn. Give it a try....you might like it [/QUOTE]

I'll probably dim the lights and play some Al Green to set the mood. I don't want my coils coming away disappointed.

Damn, the Freemax Marvos 80W is eventually out of pre pay at SM...but only the white. I'm soooo over waiting for it, i'll even go for white. But the damn shipping is $17 something. That's crazy if I think back what it used to be from China :-x. Seems they discount you on the product, but screw you on the shipping.
Think i'll hold off on it until I calm down...or maybe get over it

Everything except the Juggerknot Mini RTA was a prize from The Vaping Fossil in Oz.

First impressions of the Aspire Cloudflask S are, I love it! Sorry Fred, it's not going north :w00t: It's a completely basic bypass, no adjustable airflow, DL device. I love the centre fire button, the 5.5ml pod, the size and the quality. It came with the 0.25ohm coil, which I'm guessing is 50w at full power - and the flavour is fantastic. Airflow is perfect and it's also cloudy as hell :D

I’ve noticed that. I price checked FT and Sourcemore on some stuff and with the shipping charge they have been within a couple dollars even though Sourcemore had the items cheaper. I did order another fat rabbit from Sourcemore and shipping was only 5.50. I was really surprised.

Man yall do alot of stuff cleaning.
I guess im just super simple for a rewick.
I use a q tip when doing a quick rda rewick.
Remove top cap and then the cotton.
Heat coil several short times to dry.
Take q tip and clean the inside of the topcap. Now take the wet tip and swab the coils, even if still warm. Wet qtip wont burn...

Mine come surprisingly clean quickly. The old burned juice is cleaned from rhe cap And no drying of water required.

Worth mentioning i do periodically do a more thorough clean.

I was always paranoid of doing the heat and dunk method. If you watch forged in fire, you change the composition of the metal with rapid cooling from glowing hot.
    Guess im weird.

    Just my thoughts.
