I need about $12k worth of dental work and im feeling overwhelmed
I know that feeling all to well. Between the wife and me we had a $20k quotation a few years ago. We ended up going to Vietnam and had it done for like $4k. Had a wonderful holiday to boot :D

    Ok @Fredman1 and @AngeNZ here's what I've got.

    View attachment 966855

As Ange pointed out, the wicking systems of the two RBAs are totally different: the Qbix has a top down/gravity feed design where the juice drips down from two holes on the top of the chamber and onto the wick tails. I've never had a dry hit or a leak over many months of daily use with this rba.

The Orbit has has kind of GTA style of wicking where the wicks are being fed by two lots of three tiny holes and a slot in the bottom of the chamber that are open to the juice well. So far I haven't had a single dry hit with the Orbit and I've been chain vaping to test it. I did have one leak yesterday but it was nothing to do with wicking; the silicone plug got pushed against the tank well side of one the Delros. This opened up a little hole and a small amount of juice leaked. I doubt this would happen with an authentic Orbit - I'm guessing the silicone plugs used on the clone may have less exact tolerances.

I've tried to make it happen again but haven't been able to. It was a stinking hot day yesterday so maybe that softened the silicone.
    View attachment 966859

One thing I've noticed is that the Orbit holds a lot of juice. More than any other boro-style tank/RBA combo I've used. In this photo you'll see why; there is less wasted space under the tank than with the Qbix.

    View attachment 966861

One aspect where the Orbit is a clear winner is in the AF design. That ingenious system MissionXV borrowed/stole from SvoeMesto's AEROKON (KFL 2021) design means the air is incredibly smooth and you have a continuously variable af from fully closed to 4.5mm when fully open.

Flavour-wise I'd say they are pretty much neck and neck so far. The Orbit is new to me so I don't know if it has any quirks I haven't discovered. This is only my first build and wick so I might discover ways to get even better flavour from it. The Qbix is an old friend. Been top of my boro RBA list for a long while.

You're a brilliant Guinea Pig.

From what you've said so far, I'll definitely need an Orbit. I'm loving the Qbix though, so that means another boro device is also needed one day soon.

And I'm glad you've got Ganesh in charge of the experiment instead of Bludger, he's much more impartial!

I don’t even understand how these mods and RBAs work! So I’ll have to stick with regular mods and RBAs for now.
Sara they are just like a regular mod with an RTA. If the RTA (boro tank/bridge) was sitting on top of a normal mod it would look like this:

    20220105_130324.jpg

The reason a lot of vapers like these devices is they are compact and the RBA is inside the housing of the mod like this:

    20220105_130518.jpg

Otherwise they work the same. The closest "normal" setup to these boro devices would be an SBS mod with an RTA.

Sorry I haven't been posting much. Not been feeling great....another infection :(

My two extra Cabeo's have arrived....
    20220105_114446.jpg

......and my Kumo and Brunhilde are in France. Might get them today with a bit of luck. :thumb:

Incidentally I think I may have sorted my dry hit problem out with my Brunhilde. I pulled everything apart and stuck it in the ultrasonic cleaner. I ran it through twice and when I took everything out I noticed a small object in the bottom of the cleaner which turned out to be a tiny piece of metal. It wasn't sharp but rounded like a tiny piece of shot. I think it came off one of the rods.....anyway...long story short....she's wicking really well so far. I haven't given her the full blown test yet but I'm cautiously optimistic

Hope you guys are all staying safe....omicrap I call it

Go on...you know you want to...what's one little sweet Dani SBS ? Eh?
Plus, you can't leave @NolaMel feeling all lonely with her beautiful little Dani. You'd be doing her a favour. It would be a generous, unselfish act for you to hit the buy button.

Sorry to hear buddy, hope you get well soon :)

So quick pop in to say hi.
Last Monday i had a good day,English couple i met about a month ago called me to recheck some contracts and project estimates for a store they are opening.
They dropped off a bunch of contracts from the landlord, architect, etc etc for me to read and check if they were all done in a correct legal manner and with no hidden clauses.

Contract/Estimate for the project from the Architect was a total scam, the work he was supposed to do to the inside the business space to get it ready for the bar was all wrong.
Overcharging by A LOT in certain areas, and by A LOT i mean really a lot, total would have been like 5 or 6 grand that they were overcharged with.

I put them in touch with an architect friend of mine i knew back then from my Solicitor days,i know he is honest so he won't over charge them.

This Monday i went with them to revise the contracts at the architect's office and told them to go ahead and sign them because it all looked good.

After the deal was made they told me how much was my fee and well normally i would have given them a number but these guys are middle class (former fireman with back injury and she is a graphic designer) so i said whatever you feel is right is ok with me,didn't really know their current financial situation so you know i kinda just left it to them.
They looked at each other and nodded and then anded me an envelope with 5 crispy bills of 100 euros so yay me :banana:

Vaping wise I'm pretty much setup for now, getting the Vandy Vape Pulse AIO Kit to review soon so i hope i don't get addicted to this boro thing or else i am in trouble lol.

So i decided to give myself a gift for the 6th of January (day we give the gifts in Spain,3 wise men and all that), got me nice office chair:

    SILLON-OFICINA-HLC-3215L-1-600x450.jpg

They should deliver the chair today, can't wait to have a proper office chair, spent 219 euros on it so i hope it's worth it.

And for my pops well he did mention a couple of times he wanted some Legos to play around with so i looked it up in Amazon and dang!!! Legos are expensive, looked into the knock offs and got him a nice big ol' bag with 1000 pieces.
It arrived the other day and he has been using it every day which is a good thing, keeps his mind and hands busy and doesn't spend as much time on his lazy boy just watching movies and tv series.

Apart from that not much to tell, trying to get the right wicking for my Lethal RTA and i think i got it perfect the last couple of times so it's all going well.

Hope the new years brings you the best :)

All I have to do is look at the price and it keeps me from pressing the buy button. We spent way too much on Xmas again this year so I don't see myself ordering much of anything for a while. However, the reviews keep my vaping mind busy and away from shopping so that helps.

Sorry to hear buddy, hope you get well soon :)

Glad to hear that you got some translation work and you deserve every penny of the fee. Sounds correct actually.... roughly a 10% fee!! Good stuff.

The Lego sounds good for your Pop's....mind and hands occupied and all that.

The pulse is a good piece of kit.....down the rabbit hole you go :D Glad you've cracked the Lethal wicking. Sometimes perseverance pays off

Bonne année to you and your Pop's and Bonne santé !!

You guys remember my post from whenever the Dani SBS came out? It went something like so... "If each of you buys one then I will buy one."

If we all bought one then @NolaMel would no longer be all alone gleaming and gloating over her precious little Dani SBS. ;)

I agree with T, it would be a generous and unselfish act for the three of us to hit the buy button. Each of us wants one! :D

@charlie1465, I've been chatting with Alex via FB. I saw he is making sleeves for the Pico 75w mods. He has a bunch of really nice ones. Alex's prices are very reasonable for the work he puts in.

I'm still looking at all the ones he has shown me. So many Good Wood options and in many colors to boot. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Oh yeah, @Pigs and Charlie, Alex also makes sleeves for the Dani's.

Deals code on SXK on FT so that SXK BB and Mission ordered. Had been holding off on BBs but this and the Cthulhu AIO had my attention.
I admit I am lazy about pulling out batteries to charge these days. That is probably the main reason most of my devices are DNAs.
95% of my purchases lately are 21700s but that new Pulse looks a bit fat and to me that would defeat the purchase of this sort of device.

The Cthulhu AIO also has my attention for the very same reasons @pt91 posted.

If I decide to buy the Cthulhu AIO I'll order the VapeSnail from Atmizoo. I love the other products I have of theirs. Excellent quality gear!
    VS1.jpg

All the reviews I've read for the VapeSnail are very positive. @Pigs, @charlie1465 don't you guys have VapeSnail's? How do you like it?

Not sure if I want to go down the AIO rabbit hole.
