Dang sorry to hear that buddy, sure hope the results come back ok.

Yep,your description of life is spot on...curve balls all the time and when it's least expected.
And yeah the important stuff always has to be taking care of first, just the way it is.

Sending you and your daughter my best wishes bud :)

She's fine now. She was having some pain and they didn't know what it was at first but did three scans on her and figured it out. I thought the scans would be covered but turned out we had to pay after the insurance discounted them. We have what I consider to be a fairly high deductible and haven't met that and hopefully won't.

    Morning shinies ;)

I keep forgetting to take some pics - without the mod in them. I'll try and fix that! This year's kale, and some Autumn colour:

The teenagers around here are vaping disposable 6% (60mg/ml) "vapes". They buy them for $25 a pop from dodgy service stations (gas stations). When panicky parents talk to me about it I try to convince them that at least it's better than smoking cigs, but the barrage of anti-vape propaganda has been so effective here that most parents associate them with hard drugs. :-x

My nephew got caught with a pod at school last year. He's 15 now. My sis (ex smoker) was horrified by the 30mg nic salt percentage juice - but listened and understood my explanation of why it exists.

As for the parental reaction over him vaping - he got told that we've all been there and done that. Except we did it with cigarettes. No repercussions - other than being told to talk to me if he wanted to.

Since the power cut my WiFi extender hasn't worked. I reset it and did all the geeky reinstalling it yadda yadda yadda - works fine near the router, crap anywhere else. Its antennas are also falling off, so I've ordered a new one.

But! At the same time, my iPhone hotspot also stopped working. So I had no WiFi whatsoever for my tablet, and used a teeny fone instead all day yesterday. I can troubleshoot Windows and Android, but I'm clueless with IOS.

And then today during the insomnia hours, I reset the networking on my tablet. No change. I figured there must be something similar on my iPhone - I googled, found it, reset it, and we have WiFi!!!!!!!

I usually use Spanish and French swear words for the name of my WiFi. But it's been such a :censored::censored::censored:, I resorted to the English version!

I got one of the new Seri rdas set up tonight with triple coils. Ran it up to 100 watts and chickened out after that. Just too warm for me.

I wouldn't mind seeing one of your triple coil builds hitt:thumb:

Sorry you had to spend your savings on the pc but it seems like life has a way of doing things like that to us. I was planning on buying a new pellet grill I've been wanting but got a surprise medical bill for my youngest daughter. Our health insurance isn't very good and she went in for a couple scans and even after the insurance discount we had to pay about $500. I doubt I'll buy the grill now. At least not for a while but we have to take care of the important stuff first.
With no kids at home and retirement firmly in place and being enjoyed, a day I once dreamed would be filled with vacays and exotic locations.
BUT instead, I am now spending about $500 a month on pets.
I have an elderly dog, Daphne, age 14, who has severe allergies and she takes a pill every day that costs about $2.50 (no generic)($75 a month) she also has chronic ear infections. I make her dog food.
I have an elderly cat, Joe, age 15, Diabetes, Chronic Kidney disease and Pancreatitis, who needs about $200 a month in meds. I also make his food as he needs low phosphorus and low carb.
And on top of all the meds there is at least one random visit to a vet for one of my 4 animals.
Joe has recently come down with another bad rash that has radiated into his ear. He either has an auto-immune disease or he has become allergic to chicken. So now instead of the $30 on organic chicken wings (deboned and de-skinned in order to eliminate phosphorus) I buy monthly, in which I add $20 in something called a "completer" (heart, liver and taurine) I will be spending $40 on pork chops monthly to get him off chicken and hope that the allergy is the cause.
I saved heavily for retirement, I just never dreamed I would be spending my money this way

I'm sorry to hear your pets have so many issues. We had a cat that was 15 that had kidney disease and was on prescription food. Our dog is 9 and she has allergies and has to go each fall for a visit to get her meds that she's on all fall until the first freeze. No where near as much as what you're spending. Other than regular expenses, we are still paying rent for our youngest daughter who is currently taking a semester off of college trying to figure out what she wants to do next. We've had one kid then the next in college right after each other for the last 6-7 years. I'm ready for that part of life to be done.

At least Cheddar is still enjoying the rugged health of youth, I hope?
yes she is still problem free, save for the daily disasters around the house. Today I came home to a vase with water and flowers knocked onto the floor making a giant mess. I know it is her because she is always trying to nibble on the flowers. Still going in her cage at night to go nite-nite too. (the only way I am able to sleep myself) I also have another cat, Julie, my problem-free girl. She does not swat at dogs and loves all the neighbors and they love her. No health problems at all and she is 12 yrs old. Julie's only request is that she be able to go to bed with me at night so she is the one animal allowed in my room.

As I'm a compulsive rewicker, dual coil attys scare me. Three coils in one RDA? Bring on the Vape Butler

I do nothing but dual coils, but I'm not so sure about 3.

So far, it just seems like the vapor is a little more dense. It takes quite a bit of power to heat all three coils so will go through batteries pretty quick. I think I ended up at 87 watts. It takes a couple of puffs to get the coils good and warm but after that it's ok. I just didn't like it at 100 once they warmed up.
