Good evening, Dan:) Did you pre-order one of those new Brunhilde's?

    Good Evening Fran:thumb:
I'm not a pre-order type of buyer! So I'll wait until she is due to come into stock:)
At this stage Brunhilde 103 isn't due to be in stock until the end of the month!! I'm patient.

In my opinion, iphone is the clear winner. And i grimmace at the price, but... All the apps work better, the sound is miles better, the settings are more intuitIve and there are more ways to customize - important even if, and maybe especiallyif, you dont do much tinkering.

I did get the brainy idea that i might be able to add a micro SD, and lo and behold, i can and did. It was easy to move apps to it, but it took me 2 hours to figure out how to move pictures. I still cant get any other files on the card, but at least i freed up enough space that its not slower than mud. Still slow. Takes so long to wake up that i miss every call.

I also had to edit every word in this post.
I basically use mine for communication. I have never even gone to this forum on it. I identify with a desktop for all things computer. I am sure I am not using it for all I could be. I just recently learned how to move my pictures to my iCloud. I am confused by it more than I am helped by it. Darn thing

The Samsung A12 also has multiple pages for apps. To move them you just hold the icon until it allows you to move it wherever you want - up, down or horizontally on to any number of pages. There's also the option of removing them from any screens and storing them in the apps folder (or any folder you create)

I think the amount of apps/junk etc pre-loaded probably has to do with the jurisdiction or provider. Mine was pretty much blank out of the box except for the preloaded Samsung and Google Apps.

The thing I enjoy about Android phones (I have mac computers and an ipad) is that you can easily get deep inside and mess with the files if you want.
The thing that annoys me most is that after (compulsory) system updates, some settings are changed or permissions previously denied are opened.
I go through all my apps and deny any but those absolutely necessary for using the app so when I discover permissions re-allowed it peeves me. Not sure if ios updates do that.

I'm in your boat. I prefer Android as I learnt it first on fones and then tablets. I got given an Iphone 6 which took me a while to figure out but I got there.

For me it comes down to the device doing what I want it to do, not what the device is only able to do. So far for me Android wins.

Which is good. If the whole world only liked IOS, there'd be some grumpy Samsung etc CEOs around!

I took my Thelema Solo Quest 100 apart tonight and ruined it. The Quest board sits in a plastic tray and the dna100c board really doesn’t fit right. I damaged the tray trying to make the dna fit. No huge loss. It was a review sample and I’ve been wanting a blue one anyway.

I ordered it already. I saw someone on FB put a dna board in one but have no idea how they did it.

Your coil sounds ok I do 2.5 id and 4mm legs
    Here's @Letitia's coil:
    letitia-coil-jpg.936081

Wicking - I cut my tails really short. About to the start of the deck o-ring. I've also started thinning them out a bit too. Then I just poke them in.

    Letitia's tails:
    letitia-tails-jpg.936085

Sometimes I end up with tails so short and thin that they only just show in those wicking ports - and it vapes perfectly. The beauty of top-air

    If your flavour's muted:
Check your coil leg height is 4mm
Then either wick a tad looser, and/or thin the crap out of your tails, and/or cut your tails even shorter.

Thanks a bunch Ange, yep the coil leg height was good but it was the wicking that needed some work.
It was like a slight gurgling but without the actual gurgle...don't know if that makes sense, basically just the opposite of a smooth vape.

The first episode of the season 3 of The Orville came out so i just watched that (love that show, rest in peace Norm Macdonald) while rewicking over and over and trying it out.

Finally got it the way i wanted, working like a dream now ;)

Thanks again for the pics and the useful info.

I wish vape manufacturers built more mods that take 21700s especially if it’s a single battery.

I really don’t want to buy anymore single battery mods that take 18650s even dual battery mods should be 21700s by now. But so many of the newer mods are just that - 18650s!

    Thoughts?

I use it for break time. In between animal chores, household chores, and garden maintenance. I take a break and sit and catch up. On the news, on FB, on the forum, etc. I currently have two senior animals, both on medication and special diets (homemade food). Not much time to sit for too long. On the subject of gardening, I am also teaching myself a new hobby. Mosaic art. My garden stepping stone is my second piece of work

I really like the Thelema 100 and they are only $25 at Sourcemore. I agree with you. I have been leaning more and more towards 21700 mods. I also like the Target 100. It’s pretty small for a 21700.

Agree! It got really hard for me to buy 18650 few years ago, and 21700 is taking off in a way 18650 will never, 21700 capacity and cdr are so much higher, and they improve noticeably in short time, I think it's that so many have piles of 18650 and don't want to start over, and for mtl maybe 18650 is fine, but a dual 21700 just lasts soooo long! I've only recently been able to buy new 18650 as an aio boro tank doesn't really benefit from more than an 18650 for me, but still it's so hard, 21700 just lasts so long and sizing better matches all 24+mm atties, but like the 21700 pulse aio battery lasts for 3 full boros, that's just not really helpful for me. 18650 only seems to be a good fit for smallest size, which I actually need a new 22mm mod, my old stuff has dying threads.

I wanted a thread to ask what else can I do with all these old 18650 I've got, I have flashlights, lasers, power packs, but there has to be some other stuff that'd be cool

My bottle is okay, but it slips down once in a while when i squonk. Its not visually noticeable, but it wont squonk and i can hear it click back into place when i push it up. I'm trying to teach myself to up-squonk lol.

This was about the end for me and lv, the original bottle was poorly designed and it should've been caught, took me a week to see the problem, I'd want to know if the kits now all have the updated bottles with softer spring and better clips. I emailed lv, to their credit they sent replacement bottles, it was long time ago now so you'd think it's all fixed in all kits?

Might want to wait on that blue one, this does look pretty slick

I have many 21700 mods but never use them.
For me I only need 30 watts out of a mod, the smaller the better.
Always have 2 mods running which easily take me through a day or more.
If I was still working a 21700 might be appealing for longer run times away from home.
It's good to have choices for everyone.

I’m testing out the new Dead Rabbit 3 Rta this morning. Evidently when I took it apart for cleaning, the deck o ring moved and I pinched and cut it when I assembled it. Found out the hard way with a flooded deck. I cleaned it again and rewicked after replacing the o ring and it’s working great now. The second time I didn’t even comb the wicks and it’s working well. I can see bubbles after each puff or two.

I prefer 18650s for the size and weight. Most of my 21700 mods sit idle.
