The SXK Dotshell arrived and as expected the deck is identical to the Qbix but shrunk down to Dot size. (Both Atmizoo - Dotshell was designed before the Qbix).

I tried the fully open 3mm af with no air pins first. This atty wasn't meant for that at all - the air was swirly and noisy. No good.

So I went with the 2mm af pin which is their rdl setting.
It's great. Wicks way better than the BP mods Pioneer dot rba. Excellent flavour. I'm using a 2.5mm ID Ni80 fused clapton.

Dang...like the saying goes, when it rains it pours.
Package from Freemax arrived today and oh wow so much cool stuff to try out and review:

FREEMAX 1.jpg

2 Maxpods with 2 extra boxes of coils,Maxus solo and Marvos X.
Took a while thou, first i was just supposed to get the Solo but then they said they would wait so they could also send the Marvos X together...then they said they would wait a bit so they could also send the Maxpod in the same package and wow they sure did deliver.

Thinking of starting with the Solo, never tried a Fireluke tank before so i am eager to give it a try.

Hope y'all having a good day :)

The Marvos is great. The Maxpod not so much. I'm working on my review right now.

So i got a decision to make.

Either i can get 2 of those Wotofo Elder Dragon I've seen on sale, come from another country in the EU so with the extra delivery costs it would come to about 40 euros even (for 2 of them).
Heard really good things about those and i like that they look kinda odd hehe
Also another problem is that i gave my Pulse V2 away (you know me,someone needed it to quit smoking) so i would have to get me a squonker as well.
Reviewed the Pulse V2 and i liked it so meh, would probably get one of those.

So it's either that or find an RDTA...been looking around and a lot of them are double coil and have some weird filling system.
Ideal RDTA for me would be a single coil with a screw cap for filling purposes,no leaking even if i use sandpaper to wick the coil and that's about it,well maybe a bigger tank or possibility to buy a bigger glass.
Seen some with 2ml and that just doesn't cut it.

Ideally i would just use drop in coils but the cost would be way too much for my vaping needs so yeah...
I'm just giving up on RTA's all together, too much hassle and too inconvenient so that's where i am at the moment.

Would appreciate some help on this, not in a hurry i mean i still got 2 SMOK coils plus 4 more coils total for the Freemax devices i gotta review but i do need to look into it...gee can't believe i am still struggling with this.

    Hope y'all having a good day :)

The Helheim runs good with single coil if you want an rdta.

In my personal opinion for RDTAs the easiest refilling method are the ones that have it on the lower half of the rdta right above or connected directly to the tank. They can be accessed without messing around with the deck. You usually just slide something over and fill it. And oddly enough none of them have leaked on me. The ones where you have to pull the top cap off and fill it through the deck annoy me. I'm sure there are some that have done that very well but the ones that I have come in contact with almost universally had no air outlet sufficient enough to keep the juice from coming back out of the hole I'm filling it in due to air pressure or whatever causes that.

I like the style when it's something like the cabeo is I find them to be easier to use easier to fill less fussy. Maybe the cabeo isn't for you But something with that sort of feeling system personally I find better. It takes me less than 15 seconds to access the refill hole e-juice my tank up and close the access hole so it doesn't matter that it's kind of a small though I also think that the stats on it are incorrect and it holds a lot more e-juice than they claim it does

As a side note I read something that you wrote a while back that referenced a little bit of tremor in your hands. I have a friend that has a degenerative palsy of some sort and it gets worse every year. Their medical bills pile up they can't afford to buy commercial coils it just is an extra cost. They can't use most rebuildables or they can but it just takes too much time out of their day to try to do it what they found works is rebuildables that allow you to put the cap on the deck of the coil and then just cut across to fix the cotton. An example of this though it might not be ideal is the UB pro RBA. There's also another one that I can't remember the name of right now that's older there's a lot of clones around people really like it but the names escaping me. But he finds it very easy because he doesn't have to faff about with the damn cotton. He uses the same ID coil every single time and he's got some agleted cotton that is made to fit that exact inner diameter and he just shoots it through puts the cap on snip snip and it's done. I usually do put the coils in for him though but they last three or four months with his usage. Just a thought. It's something that you may not have come across.
