As for actually using the metal ring I can't give you any feedback there. I really didn't like that I couldn't see my juice so I took it off. I need to see my juice :w00t:

Where's ma' juice?¿

I've only used the clear tank, so I'm clueless. But when your refilling you can hear the air bubbles at the base of your wicks increase in speed as you're nearing the top. I'd try a few tanks with the clear tank until you know roughly how long a tank lasts you.

It comes with a thin afc ring that means you can use any 810 drip tip. I used that from day 1 with a resin 810. It also has surprised me with how cool the vape is, compared to my rdas and even the Cabeo rdta.

And my only coil tip is what I had help with from here - don't center the coil exactly. Stick it out a tad so that it's closer to the side airflow holes. I did my usual voodoo doll trick of sticking the airflow cap on, poking an Allen key through the holes and checking if the bottom third of my coil was getting poked.

Good info right there, and damn you for posting the pic of the Kumo/Mixx combo...looks soooo fine now I'm thinking of getting one dude.
Folks know you got to go light when using your shiny powers on me,can't afford it all :lol::lol:

For me the Kumo works best with a .65 or higher coil. I have a 3mm .7 coil in now and enjoy it more than the hotter ones I tried first. IMO the cabeo has a lot more airflow and can take a lower coil. I should really try a 2.5 coil and see how that works in the Kumo. If you are good at sensing a drying wick the full metal tank would work. I like the plastic one mainly so I can check the level when filling. The Kumo is a lot easier to wick and a bit more resistant to leaking when on it's side than the cabeo.
I still find myself using the cabeo more for flavor and amount of liquid it can hold and of course the airflow.

Yeh 0.65 a bit high for me,really more like twice what i usually use hehe.

From what I've read and trust me it's a lot,i just enjoy doing the pre research before getting something vape related...well to be honest that applies to everything i buy.
Took me 2 weeks to decide on the GPU+CPU combo for my desktop pc,so yeah I'm OCD like that hehe.

Friend from the central office of the vape shops in Seville is using the kumo as his daily banger, his opinion was that 2.5mm is the ideal size and him and me basically have the same vaping taste but then again we all different but yeah give it a try one day and see how the 2.5mm sized coil works for you.

Sorry the date didn’t go well. If my date was doing what yours did then I would have excused myself to go to the restroom and left. Of course after paying the bill. I’m not a meany. At least that’s what I was told when I asked myself.

Googled it...and in IMHO you are ;)

Uh Uh...don't do those....:p
In order to find a soul mate that also vapes, you'll have to go the Law of Attraction way...the slice of the pie isn't that big anymore, but she's out there :D

Yeh it was a bad call on my part, she insisted and well it had been awhile since i gone out on a blind date so i thought what the heck.
End up being a far far like distant second from staying home with a beer and reruns of Star Trek The Next Generation :lol:

I found a 2.5mm ID coil, 0.45 ohms was just a very sexy vape on the kool Kumo:cool:

So back from town from doing some stuff as usual.

Got my Kumo setup and wow!!! this this is truly RDL,not sure if it's really that restricted or maybe it's just me.
Haven't used an RTA in like a month and half, been using my SMOK RPM 5 and the Fireluke tank so maybe that is why it's why I'm really feeling the restrictiveness.

Do need to rewick thou, wick has gotten a bit dark on the edges, learning curve with a new atty is to be expected.
Flavor wise it's on point so for now i am glad i got it,hope i think the same in a week or two hehe.

Coil wise not sure i made the right choice, just went with what i usually use on my RTA's,might have to look into different ohms than i am use to.

Running at 0.32 ohms at the moment and around the 33 to 36 watt range, past 36 watts is just way too warm for me.

I’m glad you like it. That’s one I haven’t tried yet. You’ve been through the ringer with tanks so I hope this works long term for you.

I have another review sample coming tomorrow from Oxva. The Xlim V2 I reviewed was one of the best pods I’ve tried and you know I’ve tested a lot. They are releasing a new one today that I’ll be reviewing soon and have high hopes for it.

So folks need some help, performance wise the Kumo is awesome.
No leaking and i was kinda hesitant by the filling method but I'm not finding it to be a problem, coil wise that is where the problem is at.

So use to buying the same coils for my RTA's these current ones just don't feel right:

Alien Mamba (0,36 Ohm) Single by Charro Coils

It's just way too hot of a vape for me,at 0.32 ohms (had to cut a turn off the coil to fit it in) and even at 30 watts it's just not right.

For a cooler vape like much cooler what would you recommend, ohm wise i mean?

.7 worked better for me. Just not enough airflow for the hotter ones IMO.
I have 3 now and am considering a little hole enlargement on one but it would be minor because the holes are right next to each other.
Maybe experiment with plain, simple coils to dial in the resistance/diameter before using more expensive/complex coils. That is what I keep telling myself anyway.

Freemax Maxus Solo kit Review by Javichu

Done with that and i still got two left, just opened up the Marvos X and i will use this one and see how it goes.

Way too tired today to look into coils for the Kumo, did see these:

Resistencias Mountain 0.45 Ohm by Tobal Coils | SINHUMO SEVILLA

Maybe these will go better, but for now i am just using my drop in coils and chilling out ;)

Going to vape, have a cold soda and watch some videos from ElectroBOOM,guy is hilarious...he acts like Mr Bean but he is actually an electrical engineer slash comedian, lol what could go wrong:

I’m in slow motion move entering the stage of actually physically putting things in storage bins. A lot of thought has gone in t it. I need my everyday mods available. And then some. Then I have - not in a million years -it’s so, not my style anymore path.

Followed by the Stash pile that’s where equipment for those in my dotage  ! That’s actually the easiest or at least I think it is.

Fortunately for me that I am a bit .... retentive so I had actually made separate lists for RBAs broken down. of course when i realized I was acquiring a taste for vape gear that’s when my lists began. So this is just an addendum an add on. Otherwise I’d be totally overwhelmed.

So, if anyone has any other ideas minus the excel spreadsheet one, please feel free especially if it comes to categories. That’s where I’m out atm. So any help is welcomed. I have no qualms with those before me figuring it all out for me lol!:vapor:
here is my way of doing it. All new mods in one box, shoved under the bed. All new tanks in another box, shoved under the bed

    Morning shinies ;)

Resistencias Mountain 0.45 Ohm by Tobal Coils | SINHUMO SEVILLA

Maybe these will go better, but for now i am just using my drop in coils and chilling out ;)

Keeping in mind that the only Spanish I know is profanity:
    From what I can see your first coil was a 0.36ohm 2.5mm id 6 wrap 28*2/36 26*2/36 ni80 Alien.
    These ones:
Resistencias Mountain 0.45 Ohm by Tobal Coils | SINHUMO SEVILLA
are a 0.45ohm 2.5mm id 5 wrap 28*2/40 ni80. They will be a fair bit cooler than the first ones and you can play with your wattage a bit.

If you wanna go even cooler, then this one:
Resistencia Mini Single 0.40 Ohm by Tobal Coils
is a 0.4ohm 2.5mm id 5 wrap 30*3/40 ni80. I use these with 6 wraps around the 30w range. They are gruntier than a mtl coil, but not quite as grunty as your 0.45ohm coils. And trying to understand all this is a puta madre.

@Javichu you're bringing out my inner geek :danger:

I checked your coils on steam engine and I've got one wrong. The 0.36ohm Alien Mambo:
Alien Mamba (0,36 Ohm) Single by Charro Coils
must be a 2.5mm id ni80 26*2/36 6 wrap coil. I fixed my post above.

Anyway what it means is that coil has over twice the mass of the 0.45ohm coil. Which makes it run way hotter than the 0.45ohm.
