Those of you who order from fasttech may want to put some giddy-up in your step to purchase what you can. Good luck.

I'm borrowing @BillW50's informative post from another thread...

    ETA: The actual FT Link.
I would not be surprised to eventually see the same happening with all the other online stores in China.

China did say they were going to regulate the vaping industry a while back. Somewhere, in some thread on ECF, I posted a link on that.
A very long article from 27 October 2022 that outlines China's vaping regulations and more...

It's truly the end of an era. FT has been the backbone of hobbyist vaping for a long time. Can't see 3F surviving either.

It is the end of the Chinese warehouse.
Now I don't know if the tobacco tax applies to the manufacturers of gadgets. If so, many of them will struggle.

After getting the ft alert earlier today I went to order a 2nd Craton and they were already out. 3f is also oos but I can preorder from sourcemore. On the fence about that, if other sites are oos not sure if they will be able to restock. I don't know if the Craton is still in production.

Yes the tobacco tax as well as inspections apply to manufacturers. That info is in the "China's Vape Industry..." link.

FT has removed just about everything already.
    Under two pages of SXK.

    And these...

If so, things will be tough in Shenzhen.
I don't think the industry will disappear, but there will be little new.

I've started seeing packaging from disposable vapes littering the curbs and streets around our local seven elevens and servos (gas stations). The older teens and young adults don't bother vaping anything else - it's all disposables for that age group.
I pulled apart a disposable (I think the brand was "iGet") to see what the coil and wicking looked like. My gods it looked shonky. No way would I put that anywhere near my lungs.
You can also be pretty sure that most disposables are going to end up in regular trash. No proper disposal of the batteries.

The rate for the production and import of e-cigarettes will be 36 percent while the rate for wholesale will be 11 percent. Meanwhile, the announcement clarified that exports of e-cigarettes are eligible for the tax refund and exemption policy, signaling that China will still encourage the export of e-cigarettes.
It seems to me that the manufacturers can ship out of China without the tobacco tax.

It's my understanding they will still have to jump through more hoops as well as higher shipping rates. We need to keep in mind that technically anything that falls under tobacco products is illegal to send to some countries like the US.

I don't see them. I could probably get away with a pair of the womens.
Only 2 for men but there are some women's you might get away with.
