Scored! The Kumo (5 of them) replaced my Cabeos. It is the only atty I use now. Congrats.

It's good to see you. I'm glad I'm not the only nut in the world who prefers the Kumo. I love the capacity and flavour of the Cabeo, but I just find it gets too hot too quickly with the top air inlets so close to my face. That's the main reason. I'm not a fan of peek inserts so close to the coil either. I have the same problem with other top-air rdas I've tried. Yet I absolutely love my top-air rtas - I'm a nut.

I have a Kumo. It's a lovely vape. More like an RDTA than an rta. IIRC the Steampipes (Cabeo) folks designed the Kumo for Aspire Prestige. The way it wicks is very unique and forward thinking (like its big brother the Cabeo).

If you folks keep it up I’m going to have to order a kumo to try.
Do it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Cabeo is best with a side airflow cap instead of the one where the airflow came from the top.
In practice, it works similarly, but somehow doesn't get heat straight in the face like the original could give with bad luck.
In practice, the side airflow style is perhaps a little softer in vape.

Where Cabeo differs most from Kumo is in the MTL, the two airflow pins can adjust towards the coil, or further away from the coil, a rather unique solution.

I'm MTL vapor, and Cabeo is my number 1.
If I were RDL, I would probably go for Kumo. Now that Cabeo has got 7ml, Kumo could well get 5.5ml without it doing anything for SteamPipes.

A few Kumo reviews. The capillary action style wicking (also Cabeo) is discussed in the first two.

I'm not so confident in SM, 3F etc. being around at some point in the future. At least, and perhaps, not in China. If SM, 3F, FT and others based in China have any smarts they will look to the model 2fdeal employed with having multiple warehouses. Their main warehouse is based in Shenzhen, China and they also have a warehouse in Germany.

In the past I've ordered gear from 2fdeal. Every package was shipped out of Germany. I am surprised more people aren't using 2f for their vape needs/wants. 2f has been a solid company. I never had any issues with them.

While we interpret the Chinese vape regulations one way, I have to wonder if FT (and the like) have been told something "other" by the Chinese government. That would not surprise me at all.

IMHO, there will always be ways to successfully sell and purchase vape gear minus mainland China. Many of the manufacturers you and I buy from have been been using novel shipping and declaration methods for several years.

Where there's a will, there will always be a way.

I wanted to buy a mod from 2fdeal a few weeks back (have used a long time ago) on the payment page, it said to email them to pay via email, so I emailed twice and never got a reply, so no new mod for me :(

I didn't have time, well, the truth is, I didn't bother to pick up the package from Mod Dog today.
Contains Switch panels, and a pair of 510 connections and dna flex cables.
    Them switches looks like this:

But, I mustered up the courage and sent Omega Vaper an email to get the Bomber Pro Mosfet pdf files, as well as to hear where the chipset is sold, the show must go on lol

Tomorrow I have to pick up my Mod Dog package, looking forward to unpacking and placing everything in my Raaco System.

I completely forgot they were jaybo designed.
When Jaybo was head designer at Wismec, they came up with some great stuff. The NC II (22mm and 25mm versions) and the Luxotic BF were standouts for me.

Left to right - Luxotic BFs, Noisy Cricket II 25, Noisy Cricket II (22mm) and the original mech Noisy Cricket - named after the tiny but powerful gun that featured in the first Men In Black movie:

    20221118_141140.jpg

One of the really innovative design features of the NC II was the ability to change it from a dual battery series mod (like 99 percent of dual battery mods) to a dual battery parallel mod. A mechanical switch in the battery cap needs to be flipped over to swap between parallel and series.
It has no screen, just a pot (potentiometer) that varies from 2V to 6V in series mode and some button-press codes that, in series mode changes from direct output to variable output. The led behind the button can also show battery levels. This shows some info:

And here Jaybo talks about his designs including the mech version. Really interesting:

    Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

Good shelving system you have there.

Raaco is okay on price, most of mine have arrived on offer, $60 per rack.
What I like most about Raaco is how we can build each and every board, like on my drip tip system there are 32 A9-1 inside.
But by all means, a lot of money has been spent on buying the extra parts,
Here's what the squonk section looks like:

Tor you totally win the EMOVA (ECF's Most Organized Vaper Award).

Ask @classwife what the prize is, pretty sure she said it's a Dicodes mod.

You are unbelievably well organised sir! I just have my stuff in various cupboards and drawers and rely on a memory palace system to find and retrieve when needed. :?:

Oh yeah... since I had my Weller soldering iron out the other day, I decided to repair my Paramour SBS. It's 510 was always loosening up, had to re-tighten the nut, but that was only temporary cuz it always loosened again.

I de-soldered the 2 wires on the 510, added a lock washer between the 510 and nut. Tested it, and it no longer loosens up. Soldered up the two wires and now my Paramour is 100%. :thumb:

@Nailz, that fix will work for your Paramour as well.

I love it when mods are easily repaired.
