I learned the best way to wick the Aer from Amanda in the FB group.
Per Amanda, I trimmed a lot of cotton off the tops of my tails.

The cotton needs to sit nicely in the two cutouts.

If the cotton is not neatly placed in the cutouts there will be problems with fitting the tank section on the build deck and then with rotating the tank section. It will be harder to rotate. The tank section should rotate with minimal resistance.
Excessive cotton tails will move onto the ledges when the tank section is fitted. You don't want that. From photos I've seen, and the video I linked the other day, people are using too much cotton. The Aer doesn't need much cotton in the cutouts.
I used 26g SS316L 8 wraps and it's at 0.6Ω.
Atmizoo did an excellent job with the JFC and top-fill designs. IMHO the Aer is a total winner.
