@Tor R, I forgot to mention, my Aer serial number is 299.
    Just 3 between us

I started with a little too much cotton, it wicks but not enough, it eventually became apparent.
Now some trimming before I do it again.
    Build is 8wrap ss316, cotton is icloud9.

There are two things I don't like about the Aer, a short positive 510, which is close to flush, and I wish there was some knurling or a cut out on the top cap so that it was easier to remove the top cap.

I learned the best way to wick the Aer from Amanda in the FB group.

Per Amanda, I trimmed a lot of cotton off the tops of my tails.

The cotton needs to sit nicely in the two cutouts.

If the cotton is not neatly placed in the cutouts there will be problems with fitting the tank section on the build deck and then with rotating the tank section. It will be harder to rotate. The tank section should rotate with minimal resistance.

Excessive cotton tails will move onto the ledges when the tank section is fitted. You don't want that. From photos I've seen, and the video I linked the other day, people are using too much cotton. The Aer doesn't need much cotton in the cutouts.

    I used 26g SS316L 8 wraps and it's at 0.6Ω.

Atmizoo did an excellent job with the JFC and top-fill designs. IMHO the Aer is a total winner.

FWIW, Amanda posted a very thorough review in the group. A very nice and fair review.

There is a longer 510 pin in your bag of spares. Swap that out and you are good to go.

I lubed the fill port o-rings up with some VG. Then I worked the top cap back and forth. After that the top cap was very easy to remove.

    0.5mm, much better !
Yep, that's pretty much what I chose to do, cut off the top of the wick.
The ends are where the channel ends.
But I'm going to rewick it again, it's less forgiving than what DotShell is, the only way to get it close to perfect is to do it enough times.
All this said, the design of Aer is close to perfect, but it is quite typical Atmizoo, most of what they come up with is mostly first and always good solutions.

Yes!!! I have always been very impressed with the quality of Atmizoo products.

Remember you asked me if I ordered the tank extension kit? I was just looking at everything that came with my order. Atmizoo sent me the tank extension kit. I double checked my order, I did not order it. I am very happy to have one!!! :)

I will still be running the 2ml tomorrow. I wonder if the 3.4ml would work nicely on the Mixx SBS?
Yep I think it will fit perfectly on the Mixx with 3.4ml, the black oring will hit about 100% with the top of the battery tube.

I didn't like the coil I had installed in the Hastur, so I've had the opportunity to see whether I could remove the deck without dumping the tank. Pleased to report that I could: the chimney/bell stayed attached to the top cap. I don't think it's supposed to do that, but it's a happy defect.
They did update it after so many complaints about the glass coming off easy, so you probably got the updated version, I really liked the hastur, but I had the early version and the glass falling off was a pain, ended up syringing the juice out, and that got old fast.

I'm glad I was lucky enough to get the corrected version, then. It's beautifully easy to coil and wick, so I would have been sad if I'd had to retire it.

Tomorrow a new day and new experiments.
My day with Aer, with Stixx Stokkeby Net juice it has had today I have better atty's, including GG Caspardina.
Tomorrow I will try another Stixx, A+ Blend.
I went from 1.2mm to 1.0mm jet, and will go back.
So for something that is important, in terms of quality and functionality, I have no negative things to say.

    Setup for the day:
    8BD30C76-D825-462F-B754-CAC4F7E489BF.jpeg

Since it is so easy to build & use, it may enter the test atty rotation.
