SXK and magnet glue are not their strong points,
Same with the Asmodus Minikin 2. I cannot tell you how many magnets I had to glue back in. For some reason, their Lustros had covered magnets and no trouble with those

It wasn't a large amount of glue they had sacrificed here, it is clearly an expensive product for them to buy in.
I bought a whole bunch of magnets in different diameters and lengths for my mod projects, so I had the ones I was missing here.
And just enough of an old tube of boat epoxy glue.

The mod is in a little hand-stitched fabric pouch.
It wasn't Tartara's pouch. Although I can see where one would think that was what it was. But, it was something else altogether. You needed to see @Pigs original unedited post.

You get what you pay for, SXK and magnet glue are not their strong points, but now two magnets are glued with epoxy glue.

And more than likely well worth the bit of effort involved compared to the $$ of higher-end offerings... ;) I once purchased a $450.00 USD VA Spade 75C 21700 directly from VA that came out of the box with a door panel so ill-fitting, it wouldn't stay on at all unless a battery was installed.....

A long time ago, in an ECF far away, I also generally steered clear of cloned gear, until the Chinese improved their manufacturing to the point that all parts from an SXK Kayfun Prime interchanged perfectly with my $150.00 USD Prime DLC Moonlight Edition... Then, the same with my Rose V3, Taifun GT3, etc...

After finding parts interchangeability between all of my OG RTA / RDAs and their respective clones researched before purchasing, I feel that my $$ is more well spent with the clones. In fact, after years of use in some cases, all are still functioning perfectly, and perform exactly the same as originals of them I own.. :) The same can be said of certain devices, such as the SXK Ion Box. After MUCH use with one of mine, I can't really see how the $500.00 USD aluminum SE original could be much better... ;)

Morning shinies ;)

@Tor R with your Mobb V2: do you wick it by sticking on the chamber and chomping off the tails like the Exocet/Dvarw. Or do you bunny ears/Dvarw it? I've always done it the first way, but I'm curious about it.
I don't quite know what this building technique is called, Jacek posted a video long time ago.
Mine are RDL&MTL cap, so coil ID min 2.5 to max 3.0 is what is recommended on them.
I myself have always used 2.5mm ID.
The cotton I use is cloud9, completely normal amount for the coil like all other atty I use, zero thinning and raking of the cotton ends.
Then cap on, cut off the ends that stick out of the cap, a couple of mm, fluff up the ends well.
30/70 juice, and I have not yet experienced dry hits or flooding.

If you have a standard cap which I would suggest you have, 3mm ID as a minimum, 3.5mm ID you may need to thin it out a bit before you put the cap on, so the same as I wrote above.

Some push the cotton a little inwards afterwards.

I usually prefer to buy the original, but, dotmod is not high on my list, these SXK Sturdy covers do the job 100%.
Having to glue some magnets is something to be reckoned with, and I take that as a learning process.
If it had been unique color combinations I wanted then maybe I would have done it, I am not particularly impressed by dotmod in TC that I could think the thought of 150-200$ for some covers.

Hey ppl!!

Question about DNA mods, there are three mods that caught my eye.

What you think about Lost Vape Thelema and Centaurus? Dovpo Odin?

Is maybe anything better out there? Looking for a real good DNA mod with dual batteries, and a real long battery life.

A good TC would top it off nice.

Thank you all for being such a merry bunch of cool and chill people, so far I am amazed by how friendly and supportive an online community can be, never seen anyone like you guys!✌️☮️

His post had nothing to do with you or the pouch you made. It was something else altogether.

I will take it seriousely into consideration, cause I really don't go over 60W anyway, and that even rarely, usually I vape max at 30-40W. And even in my mesh builds I rather not stretch it over 50W.

Thank you for the idea!

The LV Hyperion DNA 100 / 21700 would be worth a look if available IMO... Despite LV experiencing some QC issues with various products, I've been extremely pleased with the Hyperion, and had no real issues beyond normal wear-n-tear to date.

If you can use a single 21700, it's hard to beat this one on price:
On their website it says it's a 21700, would assume 3F is a typo.

I think it's an aluminum too.

I agree. I have had zero issues with the Hyperion. The latest Thelema DNA100C I bought has been good too.
