A long time ago, in an ECF far away, I also generally steered clear of cloned gear, until the Chinese improved their manufacturing to the point that all parts from an SXK kayfun Prime interchanged perfectly with my $150.00 USD Prime DLC Moonlight Edition... Then, the same with my Rose V3, Taifun GT3, etc...
    ;)

Yeah a long time ago when the $$ Kennedy rda was a hot item, I decided to purchase a clone from China.......... That clone turned out to be identical to the original and upon inspection I could find zero difference between it and the original.....It also vaped just as nice...... Everyone always used to look at clones in disgust but since I am cheap, I had no problems buying them LOL........ The Chinese are good at cloning.... Besides, most things are made in China nowadays and I don't think there is a whole lot we can do about it....

What you think about lost vape Thelema and Centaurus? Dovpo Odin?

I do not know which Thelema mods you are asking about but I am assuming it is the 200 Watt mods.... The Thelema line uses the Quest 2 chipset which is a pretty good chipset...Sort of a stripped down clone of the DNA..... As for the build quality, I do not know........ I know lots of people who have them and like them.

If you can use a single 21700, it's hard to beat this one on price:
On their website it says it's a 21700, would assume 3F is a typo.

I think it's an aluminum too.

I've also had one of these since shortly after release, and find it to be a very well-built device. It could have been made a bit smaller IMO, but is well-constructed of anodized aluminum. The price at 3F is definitely hard to beat. If I already didn't have enough devices to open a vape shop, I would pick up one for a spare.... ;) :)

I don't quite know what this building technique is called, Jacek posted a video long time ago.
Mine are RDL&MTL cap, so coil ID min 2.5 to max 3.0 is what is recommended on them.
I myself have always used 2.5mm ID.
The cotton I use is cloud9, completely normal amount for the coil like all other atty I use, zero thinning and raking of the cotton ends.
Then cap on, cut off the ends that stick out of the cap, a couple of mm, fluff up the ends well.
30/70 juice, and I have not yet experienced dry hits or flooding.

If you have a standard cap which I would suggest you have, 3mm ID as a minimum, 3.5mm ID you may need to thin it out a bit before you put the cap on, so the same as I wrote above.

Some push the cotton a little inwards afterwards.

I completely forgot it came with 2 caps. I prefer a 2.5mm id so I've been using the smaller MTL/rdl cap since day 1. My wicking sounds identical to yours, except I sometimes have wonky cut tails . And I agree, the Mobb has never flooded nor dry hit and I chain vape my head off.

It wasn't Tartara's pouch. Although I can see where one would think that was what it was. But, it was something else altogether. You needed to see @Pigs original unedited post.
Ah. Good. I was worried about youse guyses' eyesight.

What... We are 5 - 10 - 20 people in here... !? At least he could leave the original post... so i can see it... and so i can reply in a suitable manner on him... ! And some other guys are trying to make fun on it... ! But anyways... !I
I don't know if I fall into that "some other guys" group, but I wasn't making fun of you. I thought Pigs and SMT hadn't noticed the stitching in your mod pouch and so didn't understand what you were talking about.

    Hey ppl!!

Question about DNA mods, there are three mods that caught my eye.

What you think about Lost Vape Thelema and Centaurus? Dovpo Odin?

Is maybe anything better out there? Looking for a real good DNA mod with dual batteries, and a real long battery life.

A good TC would top it off nice.

Thank you all for being such a merry bunch of cool and chill people, so far I am amazed by how friendly and supportive an online community can be, never seen anyone like you guys!✌️☮️
There was a post on Reddit by a well known vaper that disassembled the Thelema DNA250C 510 platform and the screws holding it together are very shallow. That being said, I asked Hitt about his and he said he's had no issue with his so far. Couple of things to remember:

Do not use a mod with a mounted RDA/RDTA as the prying tool to take the top cap off of your atomizer unless it's really, really easy to slide off. I am convinced that the vast majority of people that run into 510 issues are using the mod to remove very difficult top caps, way over-tightening the atomizer, or clumsily dropping them.

Also, there's a ZQ Essent DNA75C on sale for $66 or something ridiculously priced at 3Fvape. I bought one and when I received it, bought another. It's a great starter DNA mod for lower wattage users if single battery is the route you want to go (I see now that Tor has already recommended it, but can verify that it's a great purchase).

Edit: can confirm it fits a 21700, no problemo.

The Hyperion DNA100C I believe is still on sale at VaporEmpire for like $77 I believe, but I'm pretty sure they only have a color or two for options.

The Odin 200 is a beast of a mod, but I've not seen the DNA version for under $120ish? If a dual 21700 is a must, then you're going to be hard pressed to find a better alternative. The Steam Crave Hadron Plus is probably the next closest option.

If you're okay with dual 18650s, then I've seen a few of them for around $100. The Thelema pops up from time to time at around this price, but I've not seen the Centaurus for some time. There's also the Dovpo Riva DNA 250C that both Hitt and I can vouch for that I've seen on sale for around $100.

Todays Vape Mail was a Lost Vape Centaurus squonker to add to the blue leather with silver casing and the red leather with black frame. Todays it’s some type of a yellowish leather with a gunmetal frame. Now I have three and I don’t plan on buying anymore backups to backups to backups.

Also a Dead Rabbit Solo single coil. For all you single coil lovers try to pick one up. The flavor is wonderful. IMO not as flavorful as the dual coil v3 rda. Another really good single coil rda is the DR Squonker.

Both are becoming difficult to find so grab one sooner than later although if I open my own vape shop then I’ll have PLENTY in stock lol!!

I also get some liquid around the 510 plate of my squonk toppers when I remove them. I think it seeps up from the threads of the 510. I also had to wipe off the 510 plate and the bottom of my topper. What I've done to resolve this was to take the 510 o-ring off some of my used replaceable coils and install on the 510 of my BF topper. This stopped the 510 plate from getting juice on it and the bottom of the topper, BUT it would maybe raise you topper a little bit from you 510 plate.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check that out.

It also depends on which screw head is used on the BF pin. This is a huge reason that I refuse to use Oumier BF RDAs because they use open ended flat heads for the pin and this does NOT seal the connection between the positive connector in the squonk mod and the BF pin leaving that entire compartment open for seepage.

I have seen closed-ended flat heads used and those are okay, but the open-ended flat heads are no bueno.

True @ShowMeTwice ! It was unrelated to @TARTARA 's work.
It was a reaction/thought about another post that seemed a little unkind when I read it back. The words didn't match my intention - replaced with emoji.
