For now i just turn it sideways and use my thumb to squeeze the bottle, not the perfect solution but it lets me use my left hand.

With right-handed squonk mods I use them two ways. Index fire and thumb fire. Both are comfortable for me, so no preference, I switch all the time.

When I use my index finger to Fire, I curl my ring finger to press the squonk bottle.

When I turn the mod so I am using my thumb to Fire then my middle or ring finger works very nicely for squonking.

In the beginning it was awkward, but I adjusted rather quickly.

A while back I purchased the Aerokon upgrade kit for one of my KFL19's. The first thing I noticed from the very first hit was that it further restricted airflow. Makes sense, as it is a restricting airflow design.

I used it for a good couple months, then swapped it out for the OG deck.

SvoëMesto designed the Aerokon airflow system for those who prefer a tight(er) MTL. And as I recall for NET users for better flavor. Same as they did with the optional airflow inserts for the Kayfun Prime.

Much, if not most, of SvoëMesto's MTL user base resides in Europe. Many Europeans love their NET's. Especially the Italians!!!

Even I was thinking what was going on with the Kayfun X @OnTheFidele, what they've done with the top-cap is "interesting" to say at least and definitely unnecessary.

Unless you factor in planned obsolescence, as the seal for the slide fill is proprietary.

Meh . . . grain of salt!!!

I'm in a couple SvoëMesto groups on FB. I have not seen any complaints.

People who own the Kayfun X love them.

Most who purchase SvM gear also buy spares so that obsolescence never happens.

With every high-end RTA I've purchased I have also bought all the spare parts needed - - - so they last a lifetime.

ETA: And FWIW, the "actual designers" (engineers) at SvoëMesto know full well how to design a proper RTA. Afterall, their designs are the ones that every RTA manufacturer initially copied. Some are still copying SvoëMesto designs.

    Somewhere between here and there
When I posted my review this morning, only half of it posted. It acted funny when I hit the post button this morning but didn't think much of it. I had to just now go back and enter half of my review again.

I don't have X, but when I saw the reviews I think that in some settings it is possible to create a chamber pressure when the top cap is closed, that you get a small dash of juice to the coil just when it happens, theoretically it should be caught by wick tails before the deck floods, perhaps it is a combination of design and too thin wick tails that provokes the flooding.

I do not have a Nitrous RDA, but I do have many RDA's. An RDA is an RDA, I have yet to find one that is difficult to setup and wick. They are all very easy to coil and wick. Yes, those coils will work fine.

    As to squonking . . .

Tip #1: Remove the RDA top cap, then press the squonk bottle, lightly, to get a feel for how much juice is going into the RDA. That will help you to understand how much to squonk. You don't want to over-squonk or your RDA will leak and you will experience spitback. You only want to squonk enough so your wick is fully saturated (a wee bit extra won't hurt).

If you choose to run your Pulse V2 in simple wattage mode, you will notice that as the hits get weaker, it's time to squonk. Over a short period of time you will get a feel for how much to squonk with your Nitrous RDA.

Tip #2: I squonk (squeeze more juice into an RDA) after every hit. That way the wick stays saturated and I never experience dry hits. I use both regulated and mech squonkers every day.

Tip #3: If you want to completely AVOID dry hits then use temperature control. TC is very easy to setup on every mod I've ever used. Yep, some tweaking for personal preference is required. It does not take long to get TC running to ones satisfaction. I run TC on most of my current setups in rotation.

IMHO, it is nearly impossible to beat a good squonk and RDA setup. The quality of vape and the flavor one gets from an RDA simply cannot be beat. Drop-in coils? Nope, not even close, not in the same league, at all. Some RBA's do come close, but close only counts in horseshoes.

Thanks for all the useful tips buddy, specially the Tip #2,getting used to hitting the bottle each time i take a puff and it does seem to work well.
Trying to do it all the time so i can build some muscle memory, even if i wicked it this morning i think i will rewick again later tonight.
Just want to a couple tweeks here and there but yeah i mean come on!! first try and no leaks,spitback...nothing,yeah i am sticking with this for the long run.

Been looking around and the Dead Rabbit Solo RDA does look interesting, looks a tad taller than the Nitrous which i like...scared i might go down the rabbit hole of RDA's lol.

Cheers buddy and thanks for the tips :)

    Morning shinies ;)

I'm a 4 year squonking veteran. And I still oversquonk daily.

In my case i think i will fall under the undersquonk category hehe.

Although i do have this weird thought that has been wondering around my brain all day.
When its time to squeeze is it just a squeeze and release or squeeze and keep squeezing for maybe a second?

I have tried keeping the thumb on the bottle for like a second instead of releasing it and it does seem i get more,is it just me or is that the way it works?

I prefer it really saturated so I squeeze and hold. The bottle usually squeezes back in my extras, unless I've overdone it. Plus that way I can chain vape longer between squonks.

Yeah i have been doing the hold part, just like for a second no more and i can really tell the difference.

One thing thou, not sure if its me just enjoying my vape without wicking worries or maybe the RDA but i have gone 3 bottles already today...

And that is way after my morning vape, remember finishing up setting up the Pulse V2+Nitrous at 2 pm or so,before that i was using my Kylin Mini V2.

So that's like 3xbottles=21mls plus whatever i vaped in the morning,i mean i never really measure how much i vape when it comes to amount of e-liquid so maybe its just me hehe

Wattage/ohms basically the same from my Kylin Mini RTA to the Nitrous so that can't be it,just feels off.
Oh well anyway today is a huge i mean HUGE win for me so I'll take it.

Off to bed,8:30 am appointment to see the doc and hopefully get a date for that endoscopy/colonoscopy thing...

    Later folks

this ^^^ is exactly why I was never drawn to squonking. I do not want to have to think about things. I just want to bring the device to my lips and take a drag
