    Somewhere between here and there
Hi all, popping in to say hi.

I have a question, kind of came up after some drinking and discussion with a friend. I will tweek it for yall.

If you hit the lottery tomorrow, what mod or vaporizer would you go buy. Typically that you just never considered before.

    Or

If money was no object would you design something?
Me I envision an update of the topside and a couple others I have loved.

    Thoughts??

Disclaimer, im daydreaming and still looking to keep my bills paid lol....
Before buying anything new I’d pay someone to come to my house and inventory and organize all the boxes and tubs of stuff I have already. Then I’d probably have some stabwood mods made.

I'd pay a team of designers to build me a miniature perpetual motion machine that ran a boro mod carved from Megladon tooth, inlaid with patterns of white gold filigree. You know, a modest little number.

I never tried any of the Kangers though my first B&M vape place carried mainly those and Aspire tanks. Poking around the internet late 2014/early 2015 there seemed to be a lot of talk of them leaking so I went with Aspire.
Vivi Novas at first, then a Nautilus Mini, Triton 2, and the Atlantis EVO.
After that I branched out to some other stores and picked up a couple of SMOK Baby Beasts and a Big Baby Beast.

I had thought about trying out an RTA around that time but then the mesh coils came out and were a big improvement so I just stuck to tanks that were compatible with the Baby style coils.
The Big Baby Beast kit did come with the RBA though I never tried it out until last year.
I'm using mostly RTAs now but usually have one of the Baby coil tanks in rotation. (A TFV9 at the moment)

So many things I never got around to checking out and missed out on over the years but my vape budget was pretty limited a lot of that time.
I guess I kind of made up for it a little bit in the last year and a half though.

Thank you for sharing your journey so far, it's kind of fun to look back at how we got to where we are now!
There were definitely two distinct camps. You were either a Kanger fan or an Aspire fan. Most people stuck with one or the other. Each time one would come out with something new, the other would follow quickly.
The T-3 and the Viva Nova were similiar and out at the same time. And then the Kanger Protank and the Aspire Nautilus Mini ran side by side. Not sure what Aspire product came along with the Kanger Subox Mini. Maybe you know?
Both Aspire and Kanger moved gear along a lightning speed. And by the time the STM came about also came the flooding of others. Eleaf, Pioneer, etc. This is when it began getting crazy. I never did the cartomizers. That was before my vaping time.

Well spotted. His is a classic, well educated South Australian accent. Definitely more posh sounding than other areas. Not flat and nasal like some of the broad Aussie accents.
I had to go have a listen. Are we talking about "Vaping Bogan?"

I would not buy vape gear at all. I would hire someone to organize my hoard and find needy people to disperse most of it to.
I will join in the daydreaming fun when we are not limited to vape gear. Great question though.

    Haha, not really!
My progression was Vivi Nova > Nautilus Mini > Triton 2 > Atlantis EVO. (Then on to SMOK)

Poking around a little it looks like their first sub-ohm tank was the Cleito* or Atlantis. I'm pretty sure the Triton came after the Atlantis - with newer versions of each coming along every few months or so.

For me, the EVO had to be right before the Baby Beast as I didn't get around to mutilating the airflow, which I did to the Nautilus Mini and Triton 2. :( (they were kind of nice looking before that)
I had also drilled out the Vivi Novas though their airflow was just above the 510 so not really noticable.

    * EDIT: Poking around some more, it seems Atlantis was their first.

Yup, I was in the Aspire camp and still have never owned a Kanger, Crown or Smok tank. It went Nautilus mini 2ml, Nautilus big 5ml, Atlantis, Triton 1 and 2 and Mini. All Nautilus' and Triton Mini used the same BVC coils. Atlantis and Triton's used the bigger coils. Then the Cleito and Cleito 120. Then rebuildables for me. Although RipTrippers taught me how to rebuild the tiny Nautilus coils (me with SS).

It seems my interest in boro has subsided. I cleaned out my Stubby and a Sunbox this morning. Not sure if I’ll put them back in rotation right away.
Have you been vaping higher nic strengths in your boro setups compared to more DL devices?

A few more Juggerknot MRs, Stubby no. 2, 3 & 4 and a couple of authentic Mobb m2 RBAs.

Plus a herd of Highland cattle.

No, I mix most stuff at 6mg and some at 3mg for high output DL. I still mix 18mg for mtl and pods.

and YES, videos taught me how to rebuild the tiny tiny Kanger Protank coils. sheesh. Gives new meaning to the phrase "necessity is the mother of invention" haha. Good times
