    Somewhere between here and there
You getting extreme temperatures there right now?
It’s been up and down. We had anywhere from 80-100 recently. Luckily it wasn’t as hot yesterday. Only got in the low 80’s.

After a long rest I broke out the trusty Dvarw DL. (Thanks @AngeNZ for o-ring sizes - no leaking now).

New coil, fresh wick then after only one or two puffs realised my af preference has tightened since I last used it.
The 4mm pin was way too open for me these days.
So out with the wick, off with the coil, dug into the spares and installed the tightest pin (is it 3mm?). I'm enjoying the vape but would like another 0.5 mm tighter.

I really wish and think that fasttech closed their doors waaay too soon. Still many Chinese vape shops are still up and running and I’ve rarely had to sign for any of the deliveries.

And not only did they carry tons of vape gear and Knick knacks but they also carried so much other products that had nothing to do with vaping.

Trying to wrap my head around the reason for the quick close down.

This is me just wondering out loud to no one in particular lol!

The DL looks sharp on your new SBS mod.

I'm running a 2.5mm AF insert on my Dvarw DL FL. The Dwarv DL FL default AF insert is 2×2.5mm = 3.54mm AF.

If you have an OG Dvarw DL the default AF is 3mm. It shipped with four inserts. 3, 3.5, 4, and 4,5mm.

KHW Mods currently has 2.5mm inserts for both.

I think the future of Chinese vape manufactors is facing bad times.
The new regulations in China are going to break them, was written a little earlier in this thread the changes Dovpo is making, and they are not the only ones.
Dovpo had an excellent team in the UK, closed down. Aspire UK used to have a good site, nowadays it's almost like a shadow.

With flavor bans many European nations are introducing, even happening in red states in the US too, I know where we are going.
We who are here, we will manage going forward, most have tried mixing, and most use rta's / rba's. We will always be creative to get our daily vape.
But for the normal vapor who is used to buying a pod, disposables, a simple kit, brand juice..... with a flavor ban, it's like pulling the plug.

Agreed. Chinese manufacturers and retailers going down.
3FVape are looking iffy with no credit card payment option available (for the last week or so) even though they claim they are trying to fix it. It's only a matter of time now. FT saw the writing on the wall and called it first but the others won't be far behind.

I think the Chinese companies (mfrs and distributors) in the vape industry will eventually die off. Their days are numbered. Kinda like a mass extinction. Perhaps a couple will remain and only sell cheap closed pod systems (garbage). For those trinkets to succeed governments would have to approve them in their respective countries.

The very small, more nimble and the truly innovative, companies will likely rule the roost. There is still a healthy amount of interest and decent sales via FB groups for higher quality vape gear. Several of those manufacturers sell via their websites. Some sell only through their FB groups. I don't see open system vape gear disappearing, as long as there is a healthy demand via FB and, perhaps, via other avenues.

No, but the prices will go up as demand increases.

That's no different than any other non-vape related product(s) sold around the world. Prices never go down, or remain stagnant, for any in-demand consumer items. Prices always rise. The costs to design, manufacture quality products and pay qualified employees always rises. Rising prices = growth/profits. Capitalism 101.
