I hope everyone has a great weekend. I’m patiently awaiting a couple of shipments from Sourcemore and Element vape. Not really anything new but Element has anniversary type dead rabbit v3 editions similar to carbon fiber design and I think they’ll look great on some of my mods especially my squonkers.

I’m still very slowly organizing my gear into keep, sell, stash and donate.

I am very psyched that I’ve paid it forward to my new roommate who was a smoker just switched over to using disposable vape gear. I gave him the load down on how great “real” vaping products work and how satisfying they are so now I’ve created a monster lol!

I got him setup with a Topside and a single coil dead rabbit solo (which I don’t normally do so I must like him) I take care of rewicking and changing coils for him) he likes to watch what I’m doing and will probably give it a go soon. I spend a lot of time on battery safety as well which every vapor should have a clear understanding of as well. And I teach him the difference between different coils and wires and what to look for. My roommate from several years ago got me into vaping although I taught myself from reading everything I could and watching videos. Not to sure he’s all into that but he hasn’t gone back to disposables so that’s a win in my book.

    Pay it forward- right?

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Anyone awaiting vape Mail preferably regular gear as opposed to Boris. Still haven’t quite figured what that’s all about but I have no desire to jump down that rabbit hole.

Wish vape shops didn’t have so many items out of stock.

Oh and I did order a couple more Topside 90 watt single battery squonkers. Never want to run out of them and I have a couple of wonky ones. I’m sure it’s from my occasional over squonking and getting juice into the inner workings. It’s a real downer.

    Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

I'm cleaning up the mix&build room, oh my, what a mess it was. One day's work left. The micro drill bits have not arrived in the mess!

I have bought several used projects, will get them on Tuesday, in it is a toasted mixx that fits 100% since I am in DNA 60 projects!

My Dani SBS Qi......I will try dicodes own wire, if it fails like ss316l I will contact Dicodes, I will assume that I know how to calibrate the coil on Dicodes....when it is calibrated if it's 60˚C, mostly have to set the temperature to 285 to get a usable vape.

    Morning shinies ;)

I'm building a BB from new parts.
I ordered an aluminium frame from 3f (Camo Red), some plates and different switches (like this and this) and some doors.
The fire button and up/down button PCBs came from Vape and Make in Germany.
I've got a new DNA 60 ready to go.

Hopefully my soldering skills are up to scratch. What I like about this SXK frame design is the extra cuttouts that allow air in from multiple directions. It also makes the mod lighter than a traditional Billet Box.
I'll post photos of the process as I get the parts and assemble them.
    Wish me luck!

So the clear set has USB cutouts, while the other does not. And you do realize those 10 solder points for the USB is more than just the mod without. ;)

Yeh I do realise that - I'm on the fence about bothering with usb or not. All about soldering skills(or lack of) for me.
The transparent sets won't be too bad either way.

Cool, I look forward to hearing your experience.
Please write what type of solder wire you use and the temperature that worked best.
Vape and Make are quite expensive, but I don't know of other places where they sell switches for billet boxes.

I was thinking about stuff I regret not buying when they were available. Wish I had got a backup Kayfil tool, So easy to lose something like that. Another thing I really regret missing out on is one of those leather Provari holsters, the ones that clip on your belt. I came close to ordering one several times. I would probably never use it anyway, it's just so easy to slip a Pico in your pocket. But I wish I had a Provari holster.

    Dan usually solders everything ~360°C.
    Here's a good video.
Thanks Pat and thanks to @crss for giving me the inspiration to try this project. He built a couple from those frames and posted in the boros thread. They look amazing.

    Will do mate.
You're right - Vape and Make are expensive but I also couldn't find another place that sells the necessary electronics components for a BB build.

    Morning shinies ;)

I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need a gunmetal 'leather' Target 100.
I didn’t know there was a gunmetal one. You should get one so you can take a picture to show me.
