Winter still hasn’t really hit. It’s 65 today and some 60’s coming this week. Seems weird to still be mowing this late in the season.
Late Spring here and my white jacaranda is in full bloom. Doesn't flower fully every year.

Good evening everyone! I hope you all had a nice weekend. It’s been chilly here in Boston. My heads freezing because I got a haircut last week with a new stylist. I’ve been going to the same person for at least a decade but she moved so I never had to explain how I wanted my hair styled. The new stylist was very nice but took way too much hair off and now my head and ears are freezing. I don’t do well in the cold to begin with so it just adds insult to injury lol!

And on to vaping…. Two of my lost vapes Centaurus bf’s started to leak /gush out of the bottom fill holes this weekend. I was pretty bummed out because another one stopped “seeing” the battery. (Any ideas?) So I thought three had croaked all in one week!

Anyways I really love these Centaurus squonkers so I pulled the squonker cartridge sections apart and fiddled with them for awhile. I realized that the squonker bottle has two small flanges at the top and the bottom and in my enthusiastic squonker action i had pushed them out of the ”nuts or bolts” where the bottom and tops screw on. I was very proud of myself because the parts were tiny and I have tremors in my hands from meds but i repaired them. No more leaks.

Now, if I could just fix the one that’s not recognizing the battery in it. It’s out of warranty but I’m going to send customer service some pics and short video and keep my fingers crossed that they either repair or replace it. These devices weren’t cheap by any means and I take great care of all my vape gear.

I don’t think I’ve got any shiny items due to arrive this week. How sad. I may have to order something now.

Still loving the new dead rabbit pro rda but the only complaint I have about it is that the top cap and air flow control ring are super loose and keep messing up how I’ve set them up. I’m going to swap out the o rings and see if that helps. I do have a second one but I haven’t opened it yet. Anyone have this issue too? Otherwise it’s right up there flavor wise with the dead rabbit v3 rda. So that makes me very happy!

Most of you Shinys know me pretty well , vape wise anyways, and you know how much I absolutely love dead rabbit RDAs particularly the V3s dual coil ones. But I do have a good stash of the DR Solos and SQs which are single coil but still have the dense and flavorful vape almost as much as the dual coils. Almost.

Short story long….Sourcemore has a really great deal on the single coil Dead Rabbit Solos. If you love flavor and a great vape and prefer a single coil RDA then you should really grab one (or more as in my case) before you can’t find them anymore.

It’s part of Sourcemores Weekly Deals promotions and have them listed at $18.49!!! Here’s the link…

Sourcemore.com - E-cigarette, Electronic Cigarette Online

I may have to buy one or two for the vape monster I created aka my new roommate. He prefers the single coil. I got him setup with one of my precious Topsides 90 watts and a dead rabbit solo RDA. I even made sure he’s got a backup set ready to go just in case. I’m just so happy he’s not smoking or isn't using those expensive throwaway disposable ones anymore. He’s already dry burning and rewicking on his own. Next step will be recoiling. I think the most important part of vaping for noobies is to know battery safety. I’ve had the experience of a regulated mod go thermal on me when I just happened to be in the room. I shudder to think what could’ve happened. My house is replaceable but my dog and cat aren’t.

Fortunately Rob is an engineer and knows the basics of electrical stuff so I’ve sent him links to here and to Mooches videos. I learned so so much from you great people here, watching video builds and reading everything I could about vaping. I don’t know if he’ll become a vape hobbyist but once again- he’s not smoking. And that what’s important.

Just thought I’d share. Did you have any vaping stories about who or what helped you the most or stories where you were the one giving back the knowledge? I’d love to hear it.

Good night folks! sara

I went beach fishing before work this morning. Caught zip.
I did see a pod of about a dozen dolphins with a couple of young ones that seemed to be trying to out-leap each other. They were flying up high into the air and spinning mid flight. The pod was cruising back and forth from one end of the beach to the other for the whole time I was there.

Good morning Shiny's
Gotta say Pigs I'm feeling a little envious reading your last post.

me too. He seems to have the life, eh? I would love to watch that once in a lifetime show
I left out the bit about the Drop Bear attack in the beach carpark. Wouldn't want the truth to get in the way of a good story.
