Vape mail today. First of all my sourcemore order arrived. Nothing exciting, just some pod devices for when I'm at work. On hitting suggestion, I got the vaporesso Lux xr max. He hit the nail on the head with my vaping style. I also got a scepter 2 as it was cheap and I already have coils for it. The second package was some disposables from Element, also for work. I got a BOGO free of Hidden Valley fifty bar and they had 8 mystery disposables for $40, with a random chance of the order being doubled. Well, mine was doubled, so I got 18 units for about $70, including shipping and taxes. That's under $4 apiece.

The luxe xr max is brilliant with its huge battery.

How is everyone tonight? Anyone get any vape mail delivered or tried out a new atty?
I finally got around to building the Nudge 24. I thought I had a couple of these from years past but I had two of the 22mm ‘s not the 24th.

For a relatively small atty it’s got very big air. Almost too much even for me.

I’m finding that I’m enjoying a more restrictive DL nowadays.

It’s funny how are vaping styles change. I went from MTL for a month right into full DL for several years. Now I like it a bit tighter.

Anyone else experience changes in their vaping habits over the years or have you stuck to what worked for you from the get go?

Element Vape has the Nudge 24 for $9.99!! Can’t beat that price!

I ordered another Damn Vape Mongrel in a different color because I like it so much for a single coil rda.

It took me a long time to go below 24mg on my mixes. I eventually worked down to 20, 18, 12, and now 6mg mostly. As far as vaping style goes, there was mostly mtl stuff when I started. Now I only use 1 or 2 mtl tanks regularly with most in my rotation being RDL. I really don’t care for anything over 50 watts. I have expanded my flavors for mixing. I used to just use menthol tobacco mostly. Now I mix all different kinds of recipes. I still reach for my menthol tobacco first thing in the morning but use different mixes throughout the day.

I started at 24mg too but went down bit by bit to about 12. I stayed at 12 and MTL for longer than my co-conspirators around me (can't remember the name of the thread) Everyone it seemed went to DL and high watts long before I took the plunge. I did take the plunge in about 2016. I currently vape at around 60watts and wish I could go back to MTL, low watts. I have tried and it is just not working for me. I feel foolish sometimes carrying around a huge get-up and wish I could just be happy with a small pod

I understand disposables from a personal convenience perspective but I wish they were never invented. You probably do the right thing and disassemble them and recycle the battery after use, but 90 percent of people don't. Big issue here with landfill and garbage truck fires , plus just the shocking waste of resources.

    Morning, all.

Anyone else experience changes in their vaping habits over the years or have you stuck to what worked for you from the get go?

    Uh, no, not really?

Started in '12 with an ego and T3S, first week at 18 didn't quite cut it, upped to 24 and was off combustibles. Stayed there for a few months, "graduated" to Spinner types during that, still T3S. Then back down to 18 and still there. No intention of going lower. Every time I've tried that, I just vape a lot more, so...

Actually waited a whole year before I was certain vaping was working for me before I got my first real mod, an Innnokin SVD. (Still have it, still works, although like the rest of my big tubes mostly gathering dust.) Still with the T3S for a while, and was rebuilding those.

Eventually got into Kfuns. Tried a lot of different toppers, and most of those are now stored. Some years later added the Skyline (clones), and those 2 are my standards.

    MTL all along.

    Good morning shinies,

I trained today, twice..first on the spin bike, then a walk with Øsa and my hunting companion.

    Morning shinies ;)

I somehow managed to pick our coldest morning so far to takes photos in. A tropical -8°C.

Seeing another of your cool photos reminded me of something. One day a while back I started looking up old high school friends on the web. Sadly discovered my best buddy Chris Dickie had just died and he had been a famous photography dude. When electronic cameras first arrived in the UK all the camera buffs scoffed at them. Like, this new-fangled junk will never amount to anything. Chris had been a successful photographer before that and he was the first significant photographer to embrace the new tech. He founded a magazine dedicated to it which became the No 1 photo mag in the UK, He was the editor until shortly before he died.

Only ever saw him one time after I left high school when I bumped into him in a pub in London. There was a web site set up for comments from people who knew him. I posted some old-style black and whites of us camping in the Scottish mountains when we were kids.

Actually, I started with 36mg and bought 32mg menthol tobacco for a long time before going down to 24.

He sounds like he was an amazing guy. I love people who think outside of the box.

It took a few months for MTL to feel natural to me, but then I realized...I still tend to prefer RDL. So I'm mostly doing that these days.
