The fire button on the Drone is held in place by 4 little arms. They use this kind of design on all sorts of electronic gear for button retention. Some are quite good, but most are thin and will crack with use. Good to see LV chose the cheaper route, it probably saved them $10 on the production run of all the Drones. :grr:

Not my picture, but you can see the 4 arms holding the fire button suspended on the frame.

You could use a syringe and pipe some bondo on the broken ones if that wouldn’t keep it from fitting back in????

I really don't see what the big deal is over the 80W Gene chip anyway, I can see them limiting the TC to a lower power lever like they did on the Drag. I'd rather see something we could put Arctic Fox on. I bet CoV has a container or two full of the chips they used in the PoS Wraith...
I can pretty much guess what happened between Voopoo and Vandy vape.

  1. VV and VP had an agreement in principle or a memorandum of understanding for VV to license the use of the Gene in the upcoming Pulse 80W.
  2. Conditions changed since execution of the AIP/MOU such that they were not as advantageous to one or both parties, and one (or both) sought to negotiate a new deal.
  3. Somebody didn't like the second deal as much as they liked the first one.
  4. Since an AIP/MOU is not a legally binding contract (they agreed to agree, until they didn't anymore), one of the parties bailed out and pointed at the other for not playing well.
That happens every day. It happened yesterday, it's happening today and it will happen tomorrow.

Glad I didn't break my rule against pre-ordering. It hasn't let me down yet.

And here I thought it was just because you have large hands.
Bored stuck in bed with back out of order... so, I tried 4 small mods (two DB’s, steampunk and a swag), and barely fit. I have long fingers for a woman, so I’ll blame the arthritis in my thumbs ...and concede that yes, big mitts to hold all those

Oooh, the husband was up all night and declined to confirm or deny whether he smoked or not citing his PTSD symptoms.

You know, some people just dual use forever, and maybe he's one of them. I kind of feel like he's probably in the worst phase, where he's detoxing some, feeling awful, and not enjoying vaping OR smoking. I have decided the best thing to do is to not ask, to not suggest, or anything else. Argh, it's frustrating, but, it's probably MORE frustrating for HIM. I am having urges to say "some people are just smokers, dude," but that's practically encouraging him not to dual use. Although apparently, his dual use is just miserable.

So, I'm going to have to go back in ignore mode. He won't let me give him other setups to try, he won't.... So, I'm just going to let him do WHATEVER and check back next year sometime. LOL.

I will remember being all sick as a dog and still smoking, and just let him and his Creator do their thing (although at the moment, I think they are both idiots. But, HOW Easy it is to disremember my own smoking cessation attempts, and failures, and etc. and misery and etc.

I would send him here, but man, he'd HATE it. Apparently he is on "ignore" mode, I think the last thing he wants to do is talk about VAPING on an online forum.

How different we are, I always forget. But man, watching him suffer is unpleasant. Oh well. I guess I will put him on "ignore" mode w/r/t what is going on....

If they had just broken at the base or the button I would have epoxied them back in place but there were loose pieces in the mod where the middle sections completely broke away.

I chose to trim all off remains bits. ;) I think a piece sponge cut to fit with a hole for the switch will do the job.

I have a very hard time finding watch bands that will fit. ;)

Hate to see what all this snow will mean for us when it melts... Mississippi is getting ready to crest at almost 17’, aka, as high as the levees like. They’ve already opened the spillway (google for videos if you want to see something cool... basically trying to lower the river by diverting )
You'll be fine. There's moderate flooding at Baton Rouge and Donaldsonville. Both have crested. New Orleans is at flood stage but the forecast through 3/27 keeps the Mississippi in its banks.

The long range flood forecast shows only the Pearl River with a greater than 95% chance of flood stage exceedance (at Slidell).

They are definitely convenient. I was planning to use mine for steeping but decided against it since (for me) time and shaking seems to be doing the trick. UC's are great for stuff like cleaning tanks (or dentures) but you can get something pretty much as clean without one, it's just going to require more work.

If you want to use it for steeping more quickly some folks have reported decent results. I merely don't because I've also heard mixed things about it, and I'm pretty satisfied with my mixing regimen. You'll have to decide whether it is worth it for you. I feel like my purchase was worth it for me-- but really as Letitia says, it's more convenient, etc.

Good lord, ya'll are reminding me of that "Slow Hands" song, and how much I hate it and pop music generally.

It is awful, I remember when songs had messages. Pop seems to be really stuck on the "sexy" at the moment. That or long slow, "romance" ballads which make me all stabby. LOL. What happened to sex, drugs and rock'n'roll, did they all die? (Excepting rap from this, but it's really not my genre, but I listen, because I mean, what else is there?)

And autotune has ruined everything OTHER than rap, they know how to use it. I will only go see a band if they promise "live" autotune (too painful otherwise, but you NEVER find out, that COLDPLAY guy refused autotune at the Superbowl, and it was a sad case of admiring his "authenticity" and also figuring out "The dude who named his Kid "Apple" can't carry a tune to save his life... although his rainbow-y "enthusiasm" was "really something."

I want Frank Zappa back, and "Moon Unit" is a much better name. All the genii are dead, in hiding (possibly imprisoned) and whatnot. It's sad. Eli Musk (while okay, sure he's a genius) just doesn't do it for me. Etc.

I think I mourn a long ago era. :) Time to get busy very shortly. LOL. Parental controls or no, I am actually a PARENT. Gots to get moving here, things to do... soon.

Pearl River always floods, followed by the Tchefuncte. I’m actually 11’ above sea level at my house (constitutes a hill here lol) More worried about number one who is preggers ( she lives in west BR right on the river) And concerned about the camp. It’s raised 27’, but I bet the boys forgot to put the ice machine up the lift. Neighbors probably hate me, have a bunch of duck boats here right now :w00t:. The blankety blank Corps of Engineers changes the forecast daily. Wasn’t supposed to get this high THEY SAID, and opened more bays at the spillway. Going to seriously mess up fishing in the lake :grr:
