No. It's more a question of if you want it or not, but you don't need it to make coils. When I started building there was no such thing and I still could bang out coils.
I still don't have one.

That flavor is appropriate, since I had the airflow pin installed upside down and didn't realize my goof until it fell out while under the tap.

My problem is I have all the hand tools (high end) in multiples, so buying a kit doesn’t make sense. I’m trying to figure out what I actually need to add, cause I got shinitis BAD, and I’ll order stuff I never use if not put on a leash. Example....Anyone needs a barely used glass saw, let me know lol... bought it for stained glass, but prefer to hand cut and grind.

I have that and more. The meter, tweezers, screwdrivers and scissors too. Yes, you need it all. And a new rda to build on. And a new mod for the new rda and, and.....wait, am i being supportive or encouraging here? Lol.

i still use mine sometimes...i'd say go for it. handy for unmangling coils when screwing them to the deck

I have a 12x12 area in the shop with a U of tables and benches for jewelry/glass etching/stained glass and painting... space and tools I have plenty of. Just not coil building goodies. I’d rather have it, than get into a project and find I need it. USPS delivers by three kegged mules here, and I have no patience

@NolaMel I have that jig and it's a good one. I seldom use it when wrapping coils but the rods do come in handy installing coils. I like wrapping on a screw driver.

vastly inflated W claims mostly. they're not alone in that though.

-straw system
-bottles are dog

Imo you're better off with a cheaper mech or mech hybrid than with that.

Its my first squonk mod. I didnt want to spend a bunch of money on maybe a more expensive box until i figured out if bottom feed would be something i like or not. Thats why they make these starter kits. Condolences, therefore are not accepted or appreciated, or even necessary.

Just don't build low and you'll get a good vape. It will let you learn what you need to know.
