Yeah that doesn't seem like a permanent solution, wouldn't leave a battery in there. Can the 510+switch assembly be torn down somehow?
I've tried backing out the screw holding it in...still trying.

@Opinionated I believe it was you that asked about the battery life on the Rouleaux RX2 20700 mod. (if it wasn't you, sorry)

The battery life is better than dual 18650's by maybe 10 - 15 % (just a guesstimate)
It's better than 18650 dual mod, but it won't "wow" you with the battery life.
I use Ampking 20700 batteries and I have a set of the Sanyo 20700B.
The results I am posting is for the Ampking.

I run it at 70 watts, and get a full days use from it (your mileage may vary)

Cleared out all my e-liquid carts. Now to wait for the mailman and start doomsday prepping. @Letitia thanks again for the vanilla custard base recipe. I added those concentrates to my order along with the Dragon fruit and Strawberry. I think that custard will be going into just about everything. I think i have enough to get through a year just ordering the occasional flavoring.

I couldn't get it out. The 510 wouldn't turn after I took the grub screws out, either direction.
The switch wouldn't budge either.

After cleaning it is working fine. I can't help but wonder if all the gunk had a hand in it. I used an old battery wrap and positioned on both sides of the wire to keep it isolated, for whatever reason. May not do anything but who knows.

Going to use it a little bit, see what happens. Won't be leaving a battery in it.

The coilmaster is nice its good for making a bunch of coils quickly in one sitting then putting up for a while.
As for a meter never saw a need personally in last 7 plus years.

Seriously? Excuse my vast lack of brain, but I thought you had to have the meter to tell what ohms you built... yes, I know I’m going at this backwards (yes, I promise to watch the videos and read instructions first ). Shinitis done got my brain in buy and prep mode (my story and I’m sticking to it)

I didn't see it, sorry. Once my lap is clear I'll look back.

Here is the dots switch. A lot of juice in there, and I'm not sure how it got there. To the right you can see the little wire running to the switch.

Cleaning, but not sure what else I can do.

If mine would un solder that wire and shrink wrap it or better install new insulated wire .
Would not trust it as is bringing it near face with bare wire and also unknown leaking juice that can conduct an unwanted current.
Hope you get that solved.

So a triple battery mod is better then... that's informative Thank you
.

(It was the triple battery mods I was wanting it compared to)

:) Thanks so much. ..

 Not sure I’m ready or qualified for that
Guess i'm just an old fart 6 years back use to build a simple plastic box by buying separate parts the box a volt meter and separate ebay board vaped in volts only kinda like a provari volts only.
At one time madvapes had a kit with all the components to build one also and tried them as well .
Still have these but not in use, those are 14500 batteries.
A year or 2 before that used to vape a cig look a like with glowing end . ; )
How times changed for the better no more blisters from soldering iron at least until i have to rewire a motor on some of the prewar model trains i use but on serious note that has gotten much much better.

But by all means if your not sure get the meter and apologize if you took it otherwise.
One of several 6 year old homemades that still work but not used currently .

Ugh. What a day. My smokstick arrived today, but I'm not touching it. It has been that kind of day. I got lots done (my kiddo was sick) and unfortunately I stayed home, because, today the husband IS POSSESSED.

Srsly. It's been almost frightening at times. I don't really know what to do because he's still smoking, so I can't even go say "Go smoke!" etc., although I wouldn't.

Heh. I used to think he was a nice guy, but today is proving me wrong. Srsly if it gets much worse, I am going to "charge" the smokstick under his side of the bed (kidding) and/or call a psychiatric team for an assessment (mostly kidding).

Right now he is passed out cold in bed, and I sincerely hope he stays that way for a while. Maybe even until MORNING.

Some people can't quit. I used to think I was one of them, now I'm thinking the husband may be one of them. He's all confused and can't hold a conversation properly, if this keeps up I'm going to have to AT LEAST get him to an urgent care or something. Something. It's actually a bit scary, honestly. I was pissy when I transitioned, but not to this extent. There's like extreme rage and confusion (the confusion is what is worrying me).

IDK, I guess I'll see what he's like when he wakes up. But, definitely no Smok stick discovery, I have a feeling it wouldn't make the remainder of today more fun, and if the past predicts the future, I should definitely wait.

@NolaMel a lot of the stuff you "need" is "voluntary" and you can do without it. I'd suggest a coilmaster kit for your own peace of mind though, as in all probability your ABILITY to wrap coils probably exceeds your own estimation of your ability, so get all the aids so you feel like you are "ready."

I think a triple battery mod would be too heavy for my liking.
