I get much better battery life from my Coolfire Ultra mods (150 watts max) than from any other mod.
They are internal battery (non swappable) but small, lightweight, and not very expensive.
They last me at least 18 months before I notice the battery needing charging more often.
I think your son would like it.

Understandable but when your pushing watts like that I wouldn't trust it to a god only knows what battery. .

It's always better to know your batteries and what you can do with them within the realms of safety.

You can pick him up a Zenith, people are still rocking the ones they bought when it was first released. Usually around $30 now if you can find one.

He's got a Hedron and loves it.. was just curious about the RX with the larger batteries.

Pushed wire back from where it connects to the switch and put a battery in. No more auto fire at the moment.

They really should have made this part user accessable for cleaning.

Wow! That really could have been catastrophic. Will definitely keep an eye on mine. Did you figure out why so much juice had leaked out?

No. Felt frustrated with it, just decided to close it up. Sent the huge amount of info they wanted and will hope for best.

I get what you're saying, (maybe it's just me) but Innokin is the only product I trust as far as safety.
There are safety "cutouts" (for lack of a better term) if your ohms are too low etc.
I would never internal charge on any other brand mod.
